We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. They were kind enough to allow a super early check-in, which made a big difference for us and set a great tone for the stay. The staff was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and comfortable. We also enjoyed the hot breakfast, which was a great way to start the day. The location is excellent—walkable to grocery stores, gas stations, and plenty of restaurants, making everything very convenient. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

The shower and sink in room 145 do not work! The hotel lobby is very inviting and nicely decorated for Christmas. Great spot to unwind. The room itself was wonderful. Spacious and pretty comfy beds. The pillows were ok and typical hotel pillows. The stay was actually great until we got up early to take a shower. You either get cold or hot water but when moving the handle in the middle, it shuts the water off. The sink stopper also stuck so water accumulated in the sink. I mentioned it to the staff upon leaving but he didn’t really care. Room is Great and the Bathroom sucks.

The staff here is wonderful! I loved the Christmas vibe. I can't believe what a good price we got on a two story room with 3 beds and a pullout couch in it! We're able to sleep our family of 6 easily and still have some privacy. Amenities were great and fully functional. Are the rooms a little outdated and the threadcount of sheets and pillows kind of scratchy? A bit. But I'd love to stay here again.

I stayed here for a few nights on a business related trip and I was impressed with not only the hotel and staff but the area in general. The hotel has a great location right off I-70 and is nearby so many things. If you're driving probably the first thing you'll notice is that Eagle City LOVES their roundabouts! But this review is about the hotel so enough of that.
It was December at the time of my visit and the entrance and lobby were nicely decorated for the holidays. The front desk staff were incredible at getting me checked in and out quickly. I couldn't sleep the first night so I spent a long time chatting with the gentleman at the desk that night and he was friendly and shared some great info about the area which was greatly appreciated.
The breakfast area and lounge were comfortable and clean. Breakfast options were probably the most impressive in selection that I've encounter!
I took advantage of the hot tub, steam room and sauna during my stay. I poked my head in the exercise room, but didn't take the time to do more than that. I loved that the hot tub was deep enough that the water was over my shoulders while sitting. It helped relax me more just because of that! Odd note is the air induction ports are along the edge and make quite the noise, but that's more a design quirk I didn't like than an issue with the hotel overall. The steam room was interesting, I couldn't get enough steam for my liking but that might have been because of my impatience. So I used the sauna room instead and that was impressive.
Bottom line - would I stay here again and recommend it to anyone? ABSOLUTELY! It's affordable, comfortable, clean, friendly staff and nearby so many incredible outdoor adventures.

Deeply dissatisfied with the conditions my husband and I experienced during our current extended stay at your property. We booked for two weeks, from December 30 to January 20, a reservation I specifically made due to my work assignments in Gypsum and my consistent history of staying at this hotel.
Before our arrival, we were not informed that the rooms surrounding ours would be undergoing renovations. During the first week, workers were actively painting rooms, renovating bathrooms, and repainting walls in close proximity to our room. The strong paint fumes and spackle dust consistently seeped into our space, to the point that we had to run the bathroom exhaust fan constantly, which still did not lessen the odor.
My husband, who works remotely, experienced persistent headaches, dizziness, and lightheadedness, which coincided with the presence of fumes in the room. Our clothing also absorbed the smells of spackle dust and paint. The work environment became increasingly uncomfortable and unhealthy for him.
I reported these concerns to the front desk when the fumes became unbearable, requesting an air purifier as a reasonable accommodation. I was informed that no one else had complained—likely because most of your guests stayed only for a night—and that no air purifier was available. Upon returning from dinner, we were told that the only action taken was spraying deodorizer in the room, which did nothing to address the underlying issue.
The only advance notification we received during this entire renovation period was a brief notice about a two-hour water shutoff. At no point were we informed that extensive renovation work would be occurring directly next to and around our room throughout our multi-week stay.
For a hotel that I have routinely chosen during my work travel, this experience was extremely disappointing. Management was clearly aware that major renovations would occur during our stay, yet we were not relocated or even advised beforehand so we could make an informed decision.
While the manager apologized and offered $200 reduction on our total bill, this did not adequately compensate for the hardship we endured. Furthermore, the manager did not offer to relocate us to an alternative room.
