    We were very impressed with our stay! This is our second time staying at Homewood Suites by Hilton Durango and it continues to be a great experience. They are super dog-friendly, which is a huge plus for our family when we travel with our pups. The rooms were very clean — I actually felt completely comfortable giving our baby a bath in the tub. There was no old hair, no strange smells, no stains… everything looked freshly cleaned and very white, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. The staff was incredible. We accidentally dropped our dog’s remote out of our truck, and when I called, they didn’t see it initially — but they went out of their way to keep looking. They eventually found it down a bank (it looks like someone may have tossed it) and made sure we got it back. We will definitely continue to use this as our go-to stay when visiting Durango! 🐾

    Our room had an issue from a prior guest. The manager was very efficient and switched out our room, we lost a bit of sleep but all was good. The staff are very caring and go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. The location is good and breakfast was good.

    The staff was friendly and helpful!! The room was quiet and cozy. An added plus was the restaurant within walking distance.

    Edit: Slighty adjusted the rating upwards after manager at least took off the additional charge. Noisy location, loud neighbors, banging doors, mechanical repair noises early in the morning, loud road. Out of five ground floor rooms facing the road I was of course put in one of those, and not only that, it was right next to one that had mechanical maintenance scheduled for early the next morning. The hotel was barely booked, but of course you’ll still get put in the worst room available. Bonus were bogus extra charges during check-in even though the room was paid in full weeks in advance.
