Comments: Nice room, though again with another IHG hotel which is it that when you book via a “third-party” such as booking.com that you get the poorest room in the hotel. While the room was nice, it was the smallest room on the floor plan and directly opposite the lift, as well as not being top floor as requested. Again, you can hear footfalls from people upstairs. Outlook: Nice outlook on the balcony and over the river. Decor: Modern, well-thought-out and functional room. Desk & electrical sockets: Good desk space with international socket, space for multiple USB charger ports. In-room safe: Yes, a quirky safe in the floor of the wardrobe. Breakfast: Good American-style buffet with choices of cereal, hot food, waffles or muffins, yoghurt, fruit and brewed coffee with slightly improved choices than some other hotels.
