  We picked the best location for our vacation. Very easy to get anywhere in the location. We were so blessed to have Albertsons right near us as well. The Aminas river was such a beautiful bonus! We took many walks along the walking trail. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Our room was very spacious, clean, and quite. We enjoyed our stay!

  Some of the reviews on here made me skeptical on reserving a room but I'm so glad I did, it has such a classic charm that matches this town of Durango, everyone was so friendly, the restaurant was so good and the view was nice! Housekeeping came by everyday of our day and the fresh cookies were the absolute best, everything was extremely close like Albertsons is almost in the same parking lot and McDonald's is right across the street or you could walk to historic Durango less than a mile away, the Durango train is also right in front of the hotel and close approximity to everything ...I would stay here again!!

  I could walk right across the street and be in Downtown Durango and walk along the river. Amazing old time charm from the old world wooden rotating entrance door to the beautiful ceilings and wood work. The rooms were very clean and spacious with a microwave and mini fridge. The warm cookies you get on check in are delicious. The game room was and great add on with classic games like jinga, cards,and sorry. I had a great stay and will definitely be back.

  We stayed here last week for Christmas vacation. We booked two nights for two queens with a river view and it was perfect! We wanted to add another night but our room was booked so the nice lady at the desk was able to get us into the room next door but it was a king and pull out sofa which was not a big deal. She stated the new room would be top priority so we could move over. Once we moved in we noticed it wasn’t cleaned very well. We found an Oreo cookie in the floor, a tube of chapstick in the bathroom and the towels looked as if they were thrown on the rack. We love this hotel so that was a bummer. The location is perfect as there’s a grocery store next door, food and shopping a block away and the river behind the hotel is beautiful. The warm cookies and free hot coffee were so nice!
