We have stayed at this location multiple times over the course of several years. The location is excellent and staff professional. However, the rooms and maintenance are in need of improvement. We have stayed in more than one room that has damage on the bathroom door. The balconies are in need of cleaning and lobby decor/wall hangings need dusting.
Complimentary coffee, hot chocolate and apple cider are available in the lobby. Restaurant has a good menu for breakfast.
They had some very cute Pumpkin carvings that added a festive fall touch.

We stayed here on 10-31-25 and have stayed at this hotel serveral times in the past while visiting Durango. The rooms are always nice and clean, front desk is accomodating.
The restaruant on location was good, had both dinner and breakfast here (no continental breakfast). The bartender/server Jennifer was fantastic and very knowledgable behind the bar.
Only drawback at this location is the number of homeless that hang around. Not really the hotel's fault but be prepared for a lot of noise during the night and alot of marijuana smoke filtering into your room.

Tried twice to go to a restaurant allegedly located in the hotel. No staff had the same answers to our questions: 1. How do we get into the restaurant? 2. Why do we have to eat outside in October? Who wants cold customers and food?

Clean room, nice view of river. Ample free parking, courteous staff. One of my sink drains is slow draining, the TV has no guide, or information, is slow to change channels. No options for Netflix, or any other streaming services. It’s off season, so restaurant seems to be understaffed- no hostess, had to wait several minutes to get seated. Food was good though.
