  $270 a night for a 2-star hotel. For this price I should be staying in a luxury hotel or resort. Won’t be returning due to cost.

  I recently stayed at this spot on a short ski trip. I was horrified to see how during the complementary breakfast every single utensil used, plate, bowl, cup, knife, fork, spoon etc was all just single use plastics. The lack of environmental consciousness to utilize single use plastics for a breakfast service every single day instead of using proper bowls plates etc is astounding. This should be illegal.

  I loved this place. First off, we had a ground-floor room, which was great. We felt very safe at all times, going out to the car late at night, etc. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is wonderful. Sadly, we never used the jacuzzi but will be sure to next time.

  The key cards did not work more than 2 hours apart. We had to get new cards every single time we left the room (4) times in 2 days. It was the last time we were locked out that we were finally informed not to keep the card near phones or other cards. Card still didn’t work hours later after being very intentional about keeping that card separate. Breakfast was filled with terribly processed foods and sugary pastries, the only real food was boiled eggs bananas and apples. Scrambled eggs were rubbery and were so obviously fake processed eggs. Same with the sausage. No plain yogurts all flavored, sugary cereals, sugary oatmeal’s, sugary granola bars, just no real nutrients in any of it. Terrible start for a full day of skiing. Buildings are all spaced out and you must walk in the cold to get to breakfast, pool, office, sauna, etc. not a far walk at all but very inconvenient. Rooms were well kept and staff very friendly. Older hotel so it comes with some obvious down falls in the cleanliness department but much better than many other old hotels I’ve been to. Hair dryer was broken. Biggest downside is how hot the rooms got. Had the thermostat as low as it would go and windows open during below winter freezing conditions and I was sweating both nights. No AC units or anything. Just a floor heater that seemed to run no matter what you did to the thermostat. Ceiling fan was very weak and didn’t do much. Biggest upside is the location/views. Right by the amphitheater and close to major ski resorts. Beautiful lake/reservoir
