- DRDan RuppNov 13, 20253.0First, the staff was excellent. Very well trained. Courteous beyond expectations. It was a bit of a surprise arriving to find no on site parking, valet only. I came in tired at night I didn't feel like driving around a strange city looking for off site parking so I paid the cost. One more thing, have your facilities group reprogram the elevators. The elevators respond to the last entry. I was on the ground floor going to the 16th. Someone on the 12th floor got on and pushed lobby and the elevator returned to the lobby. I push the 16th again and the someone got on on the 15 and pushed 5. The elevator then went to the 5th. The 3rd time it worked. This happened more than once.

When we arrived in our room the thermostat did not work, fridge did not work, TV did not connect to wifi, and wifi was slow and unusable. When talking to the front desk they offered me a space heater, but ended up giving me a fan. We froze overnight and could not do anything about it. The views were nice and the hotel was clean, but it was not an overall pleasant experience.

The room was absolutely freezing, and when we realized the heat wouldn’t turn on, we called the front desk and even left a voicemail… but no one ever got back to us. We ended up sleeping in our winter coats and tossing and turning all night because it was so cold. The window was filthy… the picture doesn’t even do it justice. When the sun hit it, you could see all the dirt, smudges, and fingerprints. To make things worse, the shower water was freezing too, so I couldn’t even take a shower after the long day. Between the cold room and cold water, it was just miserable. We both ended up getting sick after staying here, and I have no doubt it was because of how cold the room was. Definitely not the relaxing night we were hoping for. I feel a refund is necessary but doubt that is possible.
