    What a swanky reasonably-priced hotel. Only stayed here as a layover and was disappointed I was not able to take advantage of all the amenities. I did, however, take a quick tour of the workout room with a filtered water dispenser near the ice machine; how thoughtful. The business quiet area was well styled with with booths and tables to accommodate laptop users and singles and small groups. Very attractive two-story loft/mezzanine that overlooked the immediate surrounding areas. Unfortunately I was not able to take advantage of the breakfast, because of my early flight, but the front desk has breakfast bars, toaster with breads, and beverages for a quick grab. Very much appreciated. Room: The room was thoughtfully designed with a combo coat/linen closet (you will see), a raised bar for easy TV reviewing without sitting on the bed, a sofa, and wet bar (yep, small sink without using the bathroom sink). The TV and remote were intuitive with matching remote keys on the TV screen so you didn't have to keep squinting and finding the remote buttons. The only gripe was the bathroom door that I had to dance around each time I used the bathroom (a barn door would have been awesome). The bed appeared lumpy but didn't feel lumpy, but the body was a little achy upon wakening (not a 100% the bed was responsible). Other than that, the room was a great stay. Area: Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Burgers, pizza, Pho, ... I believe there is a restaurant onsite with small plates. Service: The only issue I had with the service was the shuttle (-1 star). I called to alert the front desk (FD) I had arrived and ready in 20 mins. She said, called when you are on the curb. Followed instructions and waited 50+mins (+the initial 20 mins). The driver asked for my name and was concerned my name was not on the roster. I had to show the driver my online reservation after being questioned are you sure. Observed a conference group being checked in and perhaps the driver was following orders. A short ride to the hotel, and the shuttle driver made a point to alert the FD I was not on the roaster. Still confused about the verification for a free shuttle ride. Cheers to Jennifer, the manager, I had an erroneous charge on my account that Jennifer quickly resolved. Thanks. Looking forward to staying at another Avid hotel assuming they all will be this nice.

    Was put up here by United after my connection was missed. After a long evening of travel, the hotel was so nice to come to. The front desk staff were friendly, the room was nice with a large and comfortable bed and comfortable pillows. The breakfast options were nice, and there’s always coffee and water available. There’s also a 24/7 shuttle than runs every 30 minutes. Couldn’t be happier after missing a flight.

    A pleasant surprise at 2am! Shuttle came in 15 mins, just as they said they would. Hotel lobby and room was clean and bed comfortable. Front desk and shuttle Staff were pleasant. However, housekeeping knocked on door at 8am to clean, just 6 hours after I arrived, and early for cleaning, so that was odd. Also, breakfast was sufficient but trash can was overflowing and plexiglass covers for food appeared to have not been cleaned much. The hotel provided toothpaste and brushes and a water refill station. I would definitely stay again and recommend Avid hotel in Denver!

    Very Disappointing Stay We’ve stayed at this hotel brand many times and always had great experiences, but the Denver Airport location was terrible. Despite asking for a quiet room, we were placed by the laundry area with constant slamming doors, loud footsteps, and noise all night. The room had no shampoo or conditioner, and both of us woke up congested from how stuffy it was. We even saw a man walking the halls in his underwear. Overall, a very poor experience — nothing like other locations.

    Yall literally left my family broke. I would've gave yall a 5 star but I spent my last trying to rebook a hotel for yall to accept the reservation to then cancel it because "yall couldnt confirm if yall had rooms" THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE NEVER ACCEPTED TO BEGIN WITH. Now I have to wait for a refund while also figure out where I'm going to get the money for another hotel so my family isnt homeless. I will never EVER in my life book with you guys ever again. And will tell everyone I know to steer clear of you guys.
