- DWDavid Weinstein3 days ago3.0Disappointing. This hotel does not measure up to IHG standards. It has not aged well, or maybe it's just aged too much, too long. The bedding was fine, but that's it. The couch was soft, stained and had a hole in the arm rest. The living area chairs were soft and looked old. Small TV for the nice size living area. The towels were sand paper. Little counter top space. Light bulb out in the bathroom, meaning no one is doing regular checks. No ice machine??! Marketplace was bare. Rear entry door did not close on its own, again, no regular checks.

Front desk staff always had a smile on their face and willing to help with any situation. Housekeeping was top-notch rooms were always cleaned and they also always had a smile on their face. Lisa was on top of making sure we had rooms when we were picking up overtime and with any other situation we might have had. Was a quiet comfortable Motel. Thank you all at Candlewood Suites in Craig Colorado.

We got an email for our reservation with a reservation number, we went to check into the motel and they had canceled our reservation without calling us or sending us an email. This has been 2 1/2 weeks. We still have not heard from the hotel, even though I have called them numerous times, do not stay here. They do not care if they cancel your room out.
