- BBBenNov 12, 20252.0Overall, the stay and room were okay, but the billing and reservation handling were unacceptable. I had an existing Expedia reservation for November 7th - 8th. Due to a delayed flight, I called the front desk on the 7th to inform them we would be missing the first night but would arrive the following day. The front desk attendant I spoke with failed to properly note my late arrival on the reservation. Consequently, when we arrived, our original Expedia booking had been marked as a no-show. This resulted in two major problems: I was charged for the full first night by Expedia/the hotel as a no-show fee. I was forced to book and pay for a completely new, additional reservation at the desk in order to check in and stay at the hotel. Being charged for a no-show after I proactively called to inform the staff of our late arrival is absolutely ridiculous and poor customer service. I should not be penalized for an internal communication failure. This entire situation was a completely avoidable headache.
