Very low quality stay for dollar value. Continental breakfast is an extra charge, hot breakfast (buffet) is extra on top of that aswell. I was unimpressed enough I had decided to depart after the first night here... early checkout fee is $100. Hot tub and pool are not bad, they are on the cold side though. Would not recommend staying here unless you find a good deal or as a last resort if other hotels are booked.

I want to let everyone know I just flew in from Arizona and I’ve called all around to find a hotel. Even the one I made a reservation at comfort Inn and they told me that I couldn’t check in till 3 PM. I am exhausted. I came here to take care of one of my friends that is critically ill with cancer and I called the Doubletree and I got a young lady by the name of Julia and her attitude was so immaculate and she was able to get me into a room and I’m in it right now. I’m about to take a shower and lay down and if it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t be in this comfortable zone that I’m in and I want you all to know if you ever come to the Doubletree on Blackhawk and 225 make sure you ask if Julia is here because she is the most warmest kindest soul that I have met and was more than willing to help me and so many times every time people are more than willing to complain about something and maybe not as much to give someone praise but Julia kudos I give you 10 stars thank you so much for being so kind our Galloway

The good:
Free shuttle to the airport
Larger rooms
The bad:
Toilet and sink not working properly (seems like some other guest reviews also mention the same issue).
They provide upgrades to diamond members if the front desk feels like it not if space is available.
They don’t provide slippers and carpet looks not so clean.
Do not recommend staying here.

During my recent stay at this hotel, I encountered several issues that warrant attention. The Tesla EV chargers, which are located in the double tree hotel, were inadequately secured and wrapped in electrical tape, posing a safety risk. This practice is unprofessional and should be immediately rectified. Additionally, only one charger was functional, leaving guests with limited access to the charging station. Furthermore, my lamp failed to operate, resulting in inadequate lighting conditions in the room during the night. Despite these minor inconveniences, I overall had a positive experience. I hope that the hotel will address these issues promptly during my next stay.
