Everyone here was so friendly and ready to work with. The room was very clean. Didn't get here in time to use the pool but it looked very clean from the outside. Free breakfast! We will definitely be staying here again.

I had a terrible time here. It gets very loud at night making it hard to sleep, spotty wifi, and poor electricity. The city turned off the water so no one could use the bathroom, shower, or wash their hands. Workers were very nice and under standing though. Overall, not a good experience

There was no running water overnight because of construction next door and we were not informed about this in advance. Went to get water for my kids in the middle of the night and realized it was off. Couldn’t wash your hands or flush the toilet. When I checked out I was informed that there was a sheet of paper posted at the front desk and staff “should have told us,” but I didn’t see the paper and staff didn’t tell us. We had made a reservation and someone should have contacted us in advance to let us know so that we could go elsewhere if we wanted to. In addition the hot tub was broken and there was nothing to eat at breakfast because they were out of everything - no eggs, no milk for cereal, no bagels, no juice, no waffles. So we had to pay to get breakfast elsewhere when it was supposed to be included. Management never contacted us to follow up and did nothing to make it right. Staff were friendly and doing their best but the place is clearly understaffed and was a complete rip off.

I can't by any means idenify my week stay in best western Alamosa is pleasant unfortunately the working staff basically the young gal with the glasses and Andrew made everything difficult and more challenging while it didn't need to be ! Rooms are good but good luck getting them sticking to their word and cleaning the room when you ask for it to get cleaned it took them three days to get my room cleaned while i was asking daily for that.
The front desk young man with the glasses lied to me about if or not i can extend my stay one more day and made it seem like it's going to be fine to be surprised after two days that as Mr Andrew said a full booked resort to be faced with the reality of you have to check out and check back in a new room which was also a lie because i did not need to do that as worded by the manager who is passive and seems like not being to take a strong action with her employees it was a cat and a mouse game for sure for the manager to end up saying sorry they might have misunderstood as if ruining people's day and schedule is something cool and can just be fixed with sorry i would absolutely recommend another place with more competent employees luckliy i would never need to go back there again

This place was a dump! We just finished a 2 week trip in which we stayed in in 5 other Best Westerns and 2 Holiday Inns. This is the only one deserving a negative review. We didn't use the pool or wi-fi, so I cannot comment on those. The room and breakfast however, well just see below. I did read other reviews before booking, they talked about cleanliness and upkeep. Maybe we just got a bad room, I don't know. But if you go back a few months in the reviews (I didn't), you will see others like mine. Here ya go: 1. I had to fix the bed rail when I first went into the room. It was protruding about 6 inches from the bed and I hit my leg on it. 2. There was a patched areas in the carpet, very poorly patched with frayed edges and a tripping hazard. 3. Every corner and wall edge in the room had dirt and trash build-up. Very filthy room. 4. Bathroom door was scratched, stained, and had broken pieces all over it. 5. The bathtub was missing the upper drain piece, leaving a large hole in the tub. 6. The Lamp between the beds was bent and hanging down. 7. The toilet paper dispenser was bent and broken. 8. The room needed painting very badly. 9. I found black mold in the ice and reported it to the desk staff. He walked it over to the owner and he couldn't have cared less. Never said a word to me, no apology or anything. Desk clerk just said he would handle it. They kept the ice and I didn't get a picture of it. They never put a sign or anything on the ice machine stating it was broken. I had to stop several people from using it. The next morning, it was still in use and I checked, the black mold was still there. One small piece in the picture, but it was there. 10. The eggs had large gray areas in them and the sausage patties were tasteless and had the feel and appearance of being boiled, not fried. We opted not to eat the "hot breakfast" and ate some yogurt to hold us until we got to a restaurant (cost us an extra $30 to eat out). We overheard two other tables commenting on the breakfast, one stating they could eat the eggs through a straw and another commenting on the tasteless meat. This hotel was on par with a seedy $39 hotel in a bad part of town. The owner obviously does not care about the upkeep of the hotel, has no sense of pride in ownership, and no basic customer service or empathy. It's just making money on a overpriced nasty hotel. I stayed in 5 other Best Western Hotels on this trip, this was the most expensive and the only one deserving negative feedback. I am very disappointed in Best Western for allowing this and they should be ashamed of having their name associated with it. PS: I have pictures of all I mentioned.
