  For being a nicer hotel, this was not the best stay. Rooms were small, which seems to be the norm in Switzerland and there were some nice amenities, but you cannot control the thermostat (at least when we stayed in october) so we couldn't get the room cool for sleeping. And the other main issue was the shower. The handheld head had very low water pressure and if you used the overhead one instead, the water would go right out past the half glass shield, leaving big puddles on the floor. For the price of the rooms, this was a surprise.

  Not the greatest location to visit old town, but decent enough. We catcher a trolley to get to old town. Transportation is very good. The rooms are clean, and cozy (read as small). Very clean. The refrigerator wasn't working, and the ice machine in the hallway was out of order. We didn't see an extractor in the bathroom, not scent spray available. It's a good thing that we travel with a small spray container. But even then, since there was no windows in the bathroom, the scent wasn't great. The keys to get in to the room clicked on red causing appearing to be the wrong key. I saw a couple of other patrons going to reception to get a new key, not realizing that keeping the magnetic key and waiting until the LED turned blue was the key to opening the door. As everything in Zurich the restaurant/Cafe/bar seemed expensive. But, after getting acquainted with other local restaurants, we found the prices to be on par. We didn't drive, and relied on Uber and public transportation to get around. The receptionist and other staff were very courteous and ready to help. We were also advised that if one joins the free hotel membership there is a welcome package. The package contained several pieces of chocolate. Another nice perk is the free coffee machine in the lobby, along with water AND various flavors of delicious gummy bears. Definitely a solid 4 star hotel,

  Crowne Plaza Zürich provides a comfortable, well-connected stay with clean rooms and excellent business amenities. Its convenient proximity to public transit makes navigating the city effortless, whether traveling for business or leisure. A standout highlight of the stay was reception attendant Philip. His efficiency, polite demenour, and proactive approach during check-in & check out ensured a smooth and welcoming experience from the moment of arrival. His attentive hospitality genuinely elevated the overall quality of the stay.

  Very disappointing stay at the Crowne Plaza Zürich. The room looked and felt more like a dorm room than what I expected from a Crowne Plaza. The beds were much too soft for us and uncomfortable. What was most disappointing, however, was our experience with the reception desk. We found the staff rude and unwelcoming, which made an already disappointing stay even worse. For a hotel carrying the Crowne Plaza name, I expected a much higher level of comfort and customer service.

  Ich bin mit meinem Aufenthalt im Crowne Plaza äusserst zufrieden! Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die hervorragende Sauberkeit der Zimmer. Alles war makellos sauber, sehr gepflegt und ordentlich. Man merkt sofort, dass hier grossen Wert auf Hygiene und Sauberkeit gelegt wird. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und kann das Hotel mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt! Ich komme gerne wieder!
