Another fantastic stay at this wonderful hotel! This is my third time here, and it never disappoints. The hotel itself is excellent—comfortable, well-maintained, and perfectly located.
A huge shout-out to Gresa, who made our stay extra special. She is an absolute gem—so welcoming, kind, and attentive from the moment we arrived. Her warmth and professionalism truly set the tone for a relaxing getaway.
And the breakfast? Absolutely delicious! Such a great variety of options to suit every taste—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to start the day.
Already looking forward to my fourth visit. Highly recommend!

Nice holiday inn and good price in Switzerland. Have parking. Have airport shuttle if needed. Breakfast not really delicious but is included and have different food so it's more than okay. Rooms nice and clean. Service is also good. Can recommend for people for business to Zurich area.
Nice place to stay as your home base if you're going to explore Switzerland. When I booked this hotel, I didn't get a note that there is a free shuttle ONLY from airport to the hotel, but going back to the airport NOT FREE you have to pay 10 CHF. Or take the bus and pay only about 2 or 3 CHF and walk about 5 minutes from the bus stop which I did. I only have 1 light luggage, so not bad. Receptionist not much helpful. I'm a Holiday Inn member and they even charged me 5 CHF for a cup of cappuccino on the espresso machine (it's not even made from scratch, just press the button and there's your coffee).
Good location was the main reason we chose this hotel. 5 minute walk from the train station and then free shuttle to the airport that you reserve on check-in. We missed breakfast but the offerings looked good. The room was comfortable and very quiet. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.
We had excellent burgers and cocktails at Buho across the street. Don't let its location deter you. It's a great rooftop bar.

Title: Disappointing and unfair parking policy – charged different rates to different guests
My recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express Zürich Airport (July 16-18, 2026) was unfortunately overshadowed by an unfair experience at check-in.
While waiting in the queue, I overheard the guests in front of me being told they would receive a discount on parking and would only be charged a nominal fee of 10 CHF for their car. However, when it was my turn at the front desk, I was informed that the parking fee would be 24 CHF per day. This meant I was being charged 14 CHF more per day for the exact same service, simply because I was next in line.
This inconsistent and seemingly arbitrary pricing practice left a very bad impression. It feels like an unfair policy and is certainly not a good way to treat guests. Others have also noted the parking is expensive for a suburban hotel , but the inconsistency is what makes this particularly frustrating.
I would advise future guests to confirm the parking fee clearly before checking in.
