  Wie hatten für eine Nacht ein Pauschalangebot gebucht. Hier hat alles gestimmt. Bei der Ankunft im Hotel wurden wir außerordentlich nett begrüßt, alles weitere sehr gut erklärt und freundlicherweise auch noch ein Upgrade Zimmer bekommen. Das 4 Gang Menü war sehr lecker und auch das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Nicht zu vergessen, das Servicepersonal der Bahn war sehr freundlich und nett. Wir werden wieder mal kommen.

  One of the other "Wonders of The World". Park your car at the station and take the unique Cog Rail. Keep your luggage light because you have a long walk, at the top, to the Hotel which is very comfortable. The only set back is you are sharing the "top" with many tourists and The Hotel is your safe haven. A Must for a "bucket lisr"!

  Whilst the rooms are quiet and comfortable and the food decent, this hotel is really about the location/views which are beautiful and continually changing. The advantage of staying in the hotel is to experience the mountain very much quieter without all the day visitors and see the sunrises, sunsets and night skies. All the rooms appear to have views. They are comfortable and well appointed. It is best to keep the bathroom door closed as some aspect of the plumbing is at times quite noisy. My hairdryer kept cutting out. There was a kettle with tea bags and Nescafe satchets in the room and on the 1st floor an area with water, 2 nespresso machines and a bowl of apples. We stayed 2 nights with set menu dinners and breakfast buffet all of which were good. There are walks and trails up, down and around the mountain in all directions, a cafe and shop, wildlife to spot (including Ibex and lots of yellow billed chough), paragliders, musicians and lots of views. Our 2 nights here were definitely a highlight of our Swiss trip.

  Leider konnten wir aufgrund eines aussergewöhnlich starken Jahrhundertunwetters, das bei uns zu Hause Schäden verursacht hat, nicht wie geplant eine Nacht in diesem Hotel verbringen. Trotz unserer besonderen Situation zeigte sich das Hotel leider in keiner Weise kulant. Wir wären beispielsweise offen dafür gewesen, die Übernachtung auf ein anderes Datum zu verschieben. Eine Rückerstattung oder eine andere entgegenkommende Lösung wurde uns ebenfalls nicht angeboten. Das Hotel verwies lediglich auf die geltenden Stornierungsbedingungen, die uns natürlich bewusst waren. Freunde von uns haben das Gleiche erlebt, ihr Hotel hat die 3 gebuchten Nächte anstandslos annuliert. Wer hier bucht, sollte sich daher unbedingt bewusst sein, dass diese Stornobedingungen jederzeit und ohne Kulanz umgesetzt werden. Schade, dass wir in einer solchen Ausnahmesituation keinerlei Entgegenkommen erfahren haben.

  Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans cet hôtel, qui est vraiment magnifique. Le cadre est superbe, avec une très belle vue, et tout est réuni pour passer un moment hors du temps. Le souper aux chandelles était absolument délicieux. Mention spéciale pour la viande, la sauce qui l'accompagnait et également pour le gâteau, qui étaient tout simplement fabuleux ! La salle Queen Victoria est magnifique. Mais ce qui nous a particulièrement marqués, c’est le personnel. Tout le monde était adorable, super sympathique et vraiment aux petits soins, tout en restant discret et jamais envahissant. De vraies perles, et ça fait toute la différence ! Le petit déjeuner était également excellent, avec, pour moi, le gros coup de cœur : les pancakes. Bref, un séjour parfait du début à la fin. Nous avons vraiment adoré et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !
