  Hotel bietet alles was es braucht. Mich ärgern hauptsächlich die Kunden, welche nicht wissen wie man sich benimmt.

  Usual Holiday Inn bedrooms, sign asks that you hang your towel in order to save unnecessary washing. Only problem - no rails/hooks available for hanging 🙃 Reception staff seemed undertrained and understaffed. Breakfast was adequate continental but with at least 2 tour buses staying in house, had to be consumed standing up as insufficient chairs tables. All up - HI standard has slipped while room charge has increased considerably. Wouldn't recommend.

  Absolut begeistert vom Holiday Inn Express Luzern – Kriens! Das gesamte Personal ist ausserordentlich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich herzlich willkommen, und kein Anliegen ist zu viel. Alles ist sehr sauber, die Lage ist gut und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top! Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Chef: Er ist sich nicht zu schade, persönlich mit anzupacken und den Gästen zu helfen. Diese Herzlichkeit und dieser Einsatz machen den Unterschied. Genau so sollte Gastfreundschaft sein! Ein grosses Dankeschön an das ganze Team – dieses Hotel kann ich von Herzen weiterempfehlen!

  A typical Holiday Inn Express with the expected layout, amenities, and overall experience. The room was comfortable and the stay was generally pleasant. The only downside was the bathroom design. The shower has a glass panel without a door, which resulted in water splashing all over the bathroom floor after showering. This can be a little inconvenient and makes the floor quite wet. The location, however, is very convenient. It’s close to Mattenhof train station, with frequent trains taking you to Lucerne in just about 6 minutes. We also enjoyed a leisurely and scenic walk back to the hotel from Lucerne, which took around 50 minutes. There’s also a supermarket, pharmacy, and McDonald’s within walking distance, which is very convenient for travellers.

  This hotel hates group tours and has a biased attitude towards group tours. We were part of Expat Explore / Travel Chasers tour group and we stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Our your guide told us to get the free transportation pass at the hotel because that’s the service the hotel offers. The morning of Sep. 9th, 2026 we went to the front desk and this older man working there gave us so much attitude and gave us a hard time. He was really disrespectful towards us and even when we asked questions. He kept complaining about how our your guide should’ve given us the passes. Regardless we’re still hotel guests and should be treated like regular hotel guests, why is it our your guides responsibility to pick up our transit passes for us. For the rest of the stay this front desk personnel was just rude and arrogant, disrespectful and had so so much attitude. The hôtel also has no AC.
