  Das Alpengold war ein wirklich tolles Hotel. Die Zimmer waren ausgezeichnet, sehr geräumig und hatten ein riesiges Badezimmer – definitiv ein 5-Sterne-Gefühl. Das Spa ist eher klein, aber völlig in Ordnung. Das Frühstück war meiner Meinung nach ebenfalls okay. Es gab eine große Auswahl und viel Variation, aber wirklich umgehauen hat es mich nicht. Aufgrund der anderen Rezensionen hatte ich ehrlich gesagt mehr erwartet. Das Rooftop-Restaurant war hingegen sehr schön, mit einer tollen Aussicht und gutem Essen. Leider ist das Restaurant La Muña während dem Sommer geschlossen, was ich etwas schade fand.

  Affascinante hotel a fianco del lago di Davos e in posizione scenografica con tutti i servizi al top ma del resto non sarebbe hotel di riferimento per il World Forum di Davos. Ottimo servizio colazione per ampia varia e qualità prodotti. Check in e concierge al top per assistenza clienti, anche con personale che parla lingua italiana. Ticket bus e funivie gratuito per durata soggiorno. Pulizia al massimo. Rapporto qualità/ prezzo giusto per un 5 stelle. Parcheggio sotterraneo (a pagamento).

  Ein herzliches Dankeschön an M. Gubi und sein Team, die immer sehr aufmerksam waren und mit ihrer herzlichen Art für einen rundum perfekten Aufenthalt gesorgt haben. Der Service war jederzeit zuvorkommend, persönlich und absolut professionell – man fühlt sich als Gast vom ersten Moment an rundum willkommen und bestens aufgehoben. Auch die allgemeine Sauberkeit, das hervorragende Ambiente und die Liebe zum Detail haben unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! P. K.

  Wir waren mit dem Alpengold Hotel rundum zufrieden. Wir hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub – mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht, einem tollen Spa und sehr leckerem Essen. Besonders begeistert waren wir vom Miniclub für Kinder und der liebevollen Betreuung. Unser Kind hat sich dort vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt und den Miniclub sofort ins Herz geschlossen. Dadurch hatten auch wir als Eltern die Möglichkeit, etwas Zeit zu zweit zu geniessen, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Das Kinderkino mit Popcorn am Freitag war einfach fantastisch und ein echtes Highlight! Wir können nur sagen: Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können das Alpengold Hotel von Herzen weiterempfehlen! ❤️

  Google Review We recently checked out of this hotel one day earlier than planned because, by that point, we simply couldn’t imagine staying for another night. For a hotel presenting itself as 5-star, our experience was unfortunately very disappointing. It started when we arrived. We weren’t offered a welcome drink, which was surprising for a 5-star hotel, especially since we later learned that the minibar drinks were complimentary and Prosecco was available at breakfast. We were then unexpectedly asked for a 450 CHF deposit, even though our stay was fully prepaid and this requirement was not mentioned when we booked. When we entered the room, it was clearly not properly cleaned. There was a full trash bag on the balcony, hair on the supposedly fresh sheets, and crumbs on the chairs. We were also told we had been upgraded to a “Deluxe Room,” only to discover that we had actually been given the Superior Room we originally booked. Then we discovered that the shower was completely clogged, with water running toward the door. We reported it to reception, but the issue was essentially ignored. My husband had to complain again the following day and then go back a second time before someone was finally sent to look at it. Even after the technician came, the shower was still clogged. As someone who has worked in hospitality, I found the lack of care particularly disappointing. I understand that things can go wrong, but what matters is how a hotel responds. Cleanliness and hygiene should not be things guests have to complain about, and when they do, their concerns should be taken seriously. There were also smaller details that contributed to the overall feeling: fake flowers at the lobby and restaurant entrances and completely bare balconies with only two chairs and a table. Individually these may seem minor, but for a hotel claiming to be 5-star, it’s the attention to detail that makes the difference. The gentleman who checked us out was genuinely kind and understanding. He listened to our concerns and made sure we weren’t charged for the drinks we had consumed at dinner. We truly appreciated that gesture. The Lady who checked us in was the complete opposite. Unfortunately, one positive interaction at the end could not make up for the overall experience. This was nowhere near the standard we would expect from a 5-star hotel, and sadly, we will not be returning. As a person who has worked in Hospitality, I feel truly sad that this Hotel brands itself as a 5 Star. Nowhere near it...
