This is my second time staying at this hotel. It is so convenient to the airport, but the real reason I rated it 5 stars is due to the service I experienced the other day.
Our flight was delayed from LHR and none of our baggage made it. It was quite the hassle at the airport and nerves were fried.
I got into the hotel, and didn’t expect anything but average service, until I met the night manager (1:30AM!). His name is Ahmed.
Ahmed was so friendly and kind. He helped me track down a charger as mine was in my lost bag and my phone had almost no charge. He kept asking me what else he could do to help.
He is such a kind and caring person and he turned a disaster of a day (starting with no A/C in Heathrow!), and turned it around. It really made such a difference.
We unfortunately had a very negative experience at this hotel. We got two rooms, and we found that one of them was a significantly smaller room than the one we reserved. When we told them they refused to give us the room we booked because they said we told them too long (45 minutes) after checking in (although we didn’t know because we were all hanging out in the other room together). Not only did they refuse any accommodations or even a partial refund for the price difference, the guest services were rude to us. They said it was our fault for not checking to make sure we had the right rooms, and said we should’ve come back right away after checking in to let them know. They were very unkind.
Gerçekten çok güzel bir otel. Odalar çok temiz. Kahvaltı yeterli ve gayet bol. Çeşitte bol. Odanızda ketıl ve çay da var. Girişteki buz makinesi bu sıcak günlerde en büyük yardımcımız oldu. Personel çok yardımsever ve güler yüzlü. Hepsine teşekkür ediyorum. Bizim için en önemlisi konumuydu. Heryere kolaylıkla ulaştık. Otelde size şehiriçi ücretsiz ulaşım kartıda veriyor. Tek sıkıntımız tüm Avrupa'da olduğu gibi; tuvaletlerde taharet musluğunun olmaması. Tekrar gelirsem yine Holiday Inn otelde kalmak isterim. Görüşmek üzere.
Although we absolutely loved Geneva, our experience at this hotel was a complete disaster in terms of guest relations. The hotel advertises a free shuttle service. When we called them from the airport, they told us the shuttle would arrive in "3 minutes." We ended up waiting for a full hour with a young child. When we called back, they explicitly told us to take a taxi and promised that the hotel would reimburse the fare.
However, when we arrived at the reception, we were shocked by the staff's behavior. Instead of keeping their promise, the staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. They made defensive, crossed-arm gestures, signaling a harsh "no," and aggressively stated that no payment would be made. We have never encountered such a disrespectful attitude in any hotel we have stayed at before. We requested to speak with the Hotel Manager to resolve this miscommunication, but the manager completely refused to see us.
Later, they started making things even harder for us by demanding a physical receipt and refusing to accept our official bank/card transaction statements. Being kept waiting at the reception with such an unacceptable tone completely wasted our valuable vacation time. The guest relations team is a total failure, and their handling of customers is completely unacceptable. Experiencing this level of disrespect and lack of courtesy in a city like Geneva—and at an IHG brand—is a huge disappointment. We will NEVER stay at this hotel again and strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

Berbat Bir Deneyim ve Büyük Kabalık! / Expérience Déplorable et Grande Impolitesse !
Cenevre seyahatimiz boyunca şehri çok sevsek de bu otel bizim için tam bir hayal kırıklığı oldu. Otelin ücretsiz shuttle (servis) hizmeti olmasına rağmen havalimanından oteli aradığımızda bize "3 dakika içinde geliyor" denildi. Tam 1 saat boyunca çocukla yollarda bekletildik. Ardından tekrar aradığımızda "Taksiye binip gelin, ücretini biz ödeyeceğiz" dediler.
Otele vardığımızda ise tamamen tersi bir durumla karşılaştık. Bize söz veren kendileri değilmiş gibi, son derece kaba bir üslupla, ellerini çapraz yapıp ters hareketler sergileyerek hiçbir ödeme yapılmayacağını söylediler. Daha önce hiçbir otelde bu kadar saygısız bir üslupla karşılaşmamıştık. Karşılama tam anlamıyla saygısızcaydı. Durumu çözmek için otel müdürüyle görüşmek istedik ancak müdür bizimle görüşmeyi dahi kabul etmedi.
Daha sonra "Fişiniz varsa getirin" diyerek işi yokuşa sürdüler ve elimizdeki resmi banka dökümlerini/ödemelerini kabul etmeyerek işlerimizi sürekli zorlaştırdılar. Resepsiyonda bu şekilde kaba bir üslupla bekletilmemiz ve yaşatılan bu tartışmalar, bizim kısıtlı tatil süremizden yedi. Misafir ilişkileri ve kriz yönetimi kesinlikle çok başarısız. Cenevre gibi nezaketin ön planda olduğu bir Avrupa şehrinde, böylesine kurumsal bir zincir otelde bu tarz bir üslup ve saygısızlık büyük bir vizyonsuzluk. Bir daha asla bu oteli tercih etmeyeceğiz ve kimseye de önermiyoruz.

Bien que nous ayons adoré notre séjour à Genève, notre expérience dans cet hôtel a été un véritable désastre en termes de service client. L'hôtel propose un service de navette gratuit. À notre arrivée à l'aéroport, nous avons appelé l'établissement et on nous a assuré que la navette arriverait dans « 3 minutes ». Nous avons fini par attendre pendant une heure entière avec un jeune enfant. Lorsque nous avons rappelé, on nous a explicitement dit de prendre un taxi et promis que l'hôtel rembourserait la course.
Cependant, à notre arrivée à la réception, la situation a été tout autre. Comme si la promesse n'avait jamais été faite, le personnel s'est montré extrêmement impoli. Avec des gestes agressifs, les bras croisés pour signifier un « non » catégorique, ils nous ont rejetés en affermant qu'aucun remboursement ne serait effectué. Nous n'avons jamais été confrontés à une attitude aussi irrespectueuse dans aucun autre hôtel auparavant. L'accueil a été d'un manque de respect total. Nous avons demandé à parler au directeur de l'hôtel pour clarifier ce problème de communication, mais celui-ci a tout simplement refusé de nous recevoir.
Par la suite, ils ont continué à nous compliquer la tâche en exigeant un reçu physique imprimé, refusant catégoriquement d'accepter nos justificatifs et transactions bancaires officielles. Le fait d'avoir été retenus et maltraités ainsi à la réception a gâché notre précieux temps de vacances. La gestion de la clientèle et la résolution des problèmes sont totalement inexistantes. Subir un tel manque de courtoisie et de respect dans une ville comme Genève — et au sein d'une enseigne du groupe IHG — est une immense déception. Nous ne séjournerons PLUS JAMAIS dans cet hôtel et nous conseillons vivement aux voyageurs de chercher ailleurs.
