  I tried to book a room at the Home2 Suites in Woodland Hills, but they ended up giving me a reservation in Sunnyvale, Silicon Valley instead. When I asked to cancel the incorrect booking, they told me I would have to pay a cancellation penalty. Very frustrating experience. But their room is very nice. And the people here are nice too

  Front desk staff was very unpleasant. 2 different front desk helpers seemed like they hated their lives. Very quick with me didn't smile and just very un happy. 1 lady didn't even take the time to say hi and look me in the eyes. Went for breakfast at 7am.. cold and was not very quality. The valet people were nice even though I think its ridiculous to pay $30 to watch him park my park 5 feet away but o well. The bar staff was super. Val was very kind and had a great attitude but I had 2 different front desk people that were just not great. Im in town for my birthday and I just checked out early. Bad energyat this hotel. Im a hilton honors member but im going to stay at the Marriott down the road.

  I would like to share some bullet points of our stay at this property. The Pros - The facility is very clean and has many amenities that seem modern and standard for a hotel. - The room is very comfortable and goes above what I expected for the style and the layout, the bathroom, kitchenette were spotless and well-constructed. I really enjoyed the looks of the place - The bed was a great size, just perfect for two people without feeling cramped - I did not catch the name of the person who checked me in however, she provided a great service and was very accommodating to me. The cons - Forced to pay for valet parking, they charge by the hour then overnight RIDICULOUS! I paid a total of $62.00 USD to have my and my partners car parked for the night. This parking fee is never mentioned on the booking portal which I used the Home2Suites official page to book. What gave me a shock was my attempt to find any parking around the area while the night valet staff looked at me as if it was a foreign concept to park for free *This is apparently one of the only locations that has this rule in place yet that alone was almost 30% of my budget for the stay. - They require a $75 USD deposit PER NIGHT, again never did I see this fee mentioned on the booking portal or site at all. This was charged directly to my debit account as a charge and not a pending transaction. I will have to wait and see if it gets refunded. - While convenient for me to choose to check in on the app, once I paid my deposit and headed to my room, there was already someone in my assigned room. A young man shocked to see me open the door and asked me to leave as he asks my name, to my surprise the hotel places your name on the TV monitor, and I guess that's how he had my name. But I had to manually return to the front desk to be reassigned. My gripe is having paid days in advance only to have my assigned room be already accessible to someone else. - The included breakfast, while convenient was relatively disappointing. My partner and I had looked forward to starting our day with a small breakfast only to be served low quality processed foods. There was a DIY bar for small breads and cereals, and we were looking forward to the waffle station however after waiting around other people who had already served themselves that they had run out of the waffle mix. As well, the juice dispenser was out of service, the only available liquid at breakfast was coffee, packaged teas with hot water, and a water jug that was empty. I wanted to give this place a high rating and the room itself was very comfortable and enough for me to want to come back, however, the hidden fees, valet parking, uncoordinated room assignment, very limited breakfast, and a high price to value ratio made it very difficult for me to consider another property. I really enjoy the Hilton properties, and it was my first time joining the membership for myself outside of family. But as much as I enjoyed past Hilton stays, this one was a difficult one to process lightly 3.5 / 5 Stars

  This hotel completely ruined my trust in Hilton. A few days after checkout, I found out they charged me $95 for parking — even though I NEVER had a car. Before leaving, I double-checked with the front desk, and they clearly said “everything is okay, no charges.” I called four times, talked to several people, and wasted over three hours on the phone just for them to realize it was their mistake. When I mentioned that I’d write a review, the employee literally said “that’s fine.” No apology, no responsibility, nothing. Now I have to wait a whole week to get MY money back. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. The only reason I’m giving even one star is because the hotel itself was clean, and the staff during our two-night stay were friendly and polite. But after this experience, I’ll never stay here again

  I forgot a nice expensive sweeter at the hotel room I call the firth time and soon I star to explanig the rezon for my call she put me on hold , since then my call have drop avery time im waiting for them to answer. I was really hoping the I was able to recover my precios Item. the place is dicent but there is something fishing goin on in there
