Had a great time it wasn't planed. We picked up are Nephew's Friday. From Simi Valley, To take them to my sister's home in Banning. But the Traffic was over the top. Are mistake was traveling on Friday the time of day when people are trying to get home from work. It was going to take us 3 hours to get back to Rancho Cucamonga and Banning. So we took a detour to woodland Hills. And picked the Hilton Hotel in Woodland hills. On booking.come we stayed 3 nights. There Valet parking was $27.00 dollars. There self parking was $26.00 most of us valet parked. Nice rooms. Would visit again.

A lot of attentive helpful staff. The valet parking people work like an efficmachine, which is good because they get swamped. Valet people were exemplary. When I checked in, (pre-paid reservation + Hilton Honors member) was told no rooms ready. (It was early, noon). Please wait or co.e back in 45 minutes. "I'll wait right there." I pointed to nearby sofas. "OK. Great." They said. She gave me a complimentary WIFI pw. (Thank you) In an hour I saw another check in go successfully. So, I returned to counter. Original person wasn't there. Another person found my information said tge original person was on break and that it was strange because there were rooms available...?! My room: Gorgeous, modern, clean, safe. The view (8th floor) was stunning. I left for a business meeting and turned up the thermostat because it was blowing cold and the weather was chill. I returned at 10 pm. The thermostat does not work. I didn't come to that conclusion for an hour. Id get out of bed. Turn on the lights. Fiddle with it. The central air system comes out of a vent near the ceiling. The thermostat is directly below. The vent blades were directing a blast of cold air directly onto the bed. I was too tired to go down to lobby and deal with this. I pushed an ottoman over to that wall, used my fingers to direct each blade to turn the blast of cold air away from the bed. I put on layers (my soft work out clothes and hoodie.) I froze all night. At 6 am i got up with intentions of telling the staff. The concierge was busy. I went to breakfast - awesome perfect beautiful. I had Greek yogurt from a dish, strawberries, arugula, egg and sausage. THE COFFEE IS GREAT! I haven't gone to concierge yet because the coffee is so good. Im going to get another cup then go to concierge.
