Location is wonderful but even that's getting a 1 star because the man at the front desk this morning, Gustavo, is a nightmare. Mr. Antonio Succar this morning needed the facilities in the lobby; and mind you, he had already reserved his stay at the hotel. Gustavo, on some power ego trip, did not let a 71 year old man who recently had surgery use them, to the point of cancelling the reservation (yet the establishment still charged them). Not that it matters, but the son Tony Succar Jr is a Grammy winning salsa artist (2 American, 4+ Latin Grammys) known pretty much all over America...to Gustavo I say maybe think before you pick the wrong one to do wrong unto. You basically just screwed this hotel permanently.

This hotel has terrible customer service. Specifically, their front desk agent GUSTAVO who has no class, skill or grace as a professional and should not work anywhere in the hospitality industry. Employees like him are bad eggs that make a company brand look terrible. Best Western should be ashamed to have this individual as the person who receives their guest as their first impression of their property. Gustavo will personally see it to himself to mistreat guests and laugh in their faces, all while recording them. Despicable behavior.
For context, Gustavo did allow paying guests to use the lobby bathroom until they checked in to their room later in the afternoon. The guests were traveling and the gentleman is older with medical needs. Gustavo then took it upon himself to cancel the reservation and threatened the guests will calling the police for trespassing. He is a legal liability to Best Western, he is a lawsuit waiting to happen and surely is waiting for his own prime opportunity.
Bathrooms should always be accessible especially for paying hotel guests.

Worst service.
The worst service in the world. The receptionist is very rude and zero empathetic with the elderly! He is not empathetic and denies him access to the lobby bathroom when an elderly person requires it with great need. Not only does it not give you access to the bathroom due to an emergency, but it cancels your reservation (it has no refund) and THREATENS YOU TO CALL THE POLICE AND THROW YOU OUT OF THE HOTEL! When you only ask him to have empathy... not only that! He makes fun of you saying that he is wasting battery for many minutes of recording that he has done while he was throwing! NO ONE GOES BECAUSE THEY WILL HAVE THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF THEIR LIVES! A SHAME! MISTREATMENT OF CUSTOMERS WHO PAY FOR A ROOM!!

Just because you aren’t a 5 star hotel doesn’t mean your service should be trashy. Your employee Gustavo in Front Desk was so disrespectful when he didn’t let a 71-year-old man use your restrooms while his son was getting his bags from the car to check-in. He wasn’t some random person using the restroom; and even if it was, it was an elderly person that needed the services. Gustavo refused to check Tony in and threatened to call the police. Is this the kind of person that represents your hotel? Why would ANYONE want to choose this treatment when there are PLENTY of other hotels with kind people in the front and in the back of the hotel. If Tony Succar, a Latin Grammy Winner, got this kind of treatment, what can regular people like me and thousands of others expect?? I truly hope you make it right and this never happens again.
