My husband booked a hotel room for us for one night with breakfast included. The staff was not kind and a little condescending. When we showed up for breakfast they told us that there was no breakfast included, again, they were using a condescending tone. The bed was squeaky the floors smelled like smoke regardless of it being a smoke free zone. During our stay the fire alarm went off twice, both times being a false alarm. The room was abnormally dark and the coffee machine didn't work. There were lots of minor details that I don't feel are necessary to add, but they definitely made the stay less comfortable.

Overcharged
Good review for soundproofing from highway noise. My family stayed 9/18-20/2025. We made a room change prior to arrival due to illness of one of our family members, we requested to downgrade the room. We were told the rate would be adjusted and after check out found out it was not. We ended up paying for a King Suite and stayed in a 2 Queen bed-standard room. We were never told that we would be charged the higher rate and manager will not adjust.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Windsor a couple of times and found it to be great value for money. I would recommend booking one of the premium rooms for a bit of extra comfort. The hotel has a large car park with reasonable pricing, which is very convenient. The bar offers drinks at reasonable prices, and while the restaurant is quite basic, the food is affordable and breakfast is good value. Overall, it’s a good spot for a 3-day stay, especially since the hotel is very handy for all the attractions and activities in Windsor. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable and economical place to stay in the area.

We chose this hotel because it was close to Healdsburg. It was clean and affordable for the one night stay we had. About a $10 Uber/Lyft to Healdsburg.

A little nice than a normal Holiday Inn Express. Good location for Windsor.
