  It was a great place because it wasn't far from Sequoia Park where we celebrated my great grandson's 1st birthday. Before we checked out, my SIL and daughter made sure we don't forget anything. And to our amazed, they found things left behind by guests and trashes behind the couch bed.

  Clean rooms, pool, and a decent quick breakfast. Location was in a good spot. Close to everything. Will stay there again.

  I stayed for three nights, and the room was never cleaned. There were no blankets for the cold, and there weren't enough towels for four people. Before heading out, I requested a towel and bath soap. When I returned from my excursion, nothing had been delivered to the room. They had taken the dirty towels but hadn't left any clean ones. I called the front desk, and they told me to come down to pick up the towels and soap myself. Front desk staff not very friendly compared to other Holiday Inns.

  I had a very frustrating experience with the way this hotel handled a theft incident. The manager repeatedly told me they would arrive at 8:30 AM to review the situation, but they didn’t show up until sometime between 9:30 and 10:30. Thankfully the police arrived quickly and were ready to review the security footage. However, the front desk staff informed me that only the manager could release the footage. Despite waiting the entire day, I never received any follow-up from the general manager. When I called the next day, I was told it was the weekend and the manager would be off for two days. At no point did the general manager contact me to explain what the cameras showed or provide any update on what may have happened. What makes the situation even more confusing is that I was later told the cameras did not show any cars or people passing by. That explanation doesn’t make sense given that my belongings were stolen and there is only one entrance and exit to the area that is covered by cameras. I have unfortunately dealt with stolen items before and have even helped others locate their belongings using security footage. In those cases, businesses were cooperative and proactive. This was the opposite experience — the staff seemed reluctant to review or share any information that might help. I expected much better communication and assistance from hotel management in a situation like this.
