  UPDATE 1/27: While the extra charge for the wine has been refunded on my personal card, they still have yet to refund the charge for the meal on my personal card, which they already charged my company card for!!! And then, I find out an additional $13.02 charge went through on my company card for the wine! What is going on? Why couldn’t these charges be handled correctly from the beginning? My request was really not that complicated. They need to fix this ASAP. I will be reaching out to the Better Business Bureau. ORIGINAL REVIEW: It is quite honestly disappointing, as a Hilton Honors GOLD member, that I need to leave this review today. I enjoyed my stay very much. The rooms are very clean, the staff was overall friendly. I cannot remember the housekeeping managers name, but I ran into her in the elevator and she was so friendly and kind. This review is not a reflection of her in any way. However, I have been dealing with an ongoing billing issue with them. I went to the bar during my stay to get a meal, and a glass of wine. I was on a business trip, so my company was going to pay for the meal and I wanted to put the wine on a personal credit card. I was charged right away for the wine on my personal card, and they billed the food to my room. However, upon checkout, I noticed on my folio that I was charged for the wine on my company card also. I immediately called and explained the situation, and they said it would be taken care of. Hours later I get a notification that I was charged AGAIN for the wine on my personal card, and they moved the meal to my personal card also! I immediately called them when I noticed this. They were able to take care of the meal charge, but kept telling me I was not charged twice for the wine. You can see on the attached photo, that my card statement says otherwise. Since they refused to take responsibility and reverse the charge, I initiated a dispute with my credit card company. Moral of the story: excellent hotel to stay at, but maybe avoid the bar to avoid incorrect charges. Very disappointed.

  The service is excellent, rooms are very clean. The location is easily accessible, being right off the freeway. The staff, including the house keeping manager, Stephanie, are excellent and attentive. All of my accommodations were fulfilled. Given location, this was a really pleasant stay. Would highly recommend

  OH MY GOSH!!! WHAT AN ABSOLUTE GEM!! Ok to be completely transparent, when I approached the hotel, I was a bit skeptical until I got in the parking lot and in the building. Beautiful set up. The absolute, beyond a shadow of a doubt, kindest most respectful, engaging and knowledgeable staff Ive ever encountered and I travel ALOT. Highly recommend the little bakery treats they sell (spinach and feta in a pastry...not what I expected,( wish they would have had two 😆) , and the Its It ice cream treats may have crack in them.. Idk. They were addictive 😉. HGI Visalia staff. THANK YOU for making a long week enjoyable. Now, tell the city to build some stuff around you lol.

  Do not go to the restaurant if you want to eat. How can they have a hamburger for 20 bucks but are out of fries. Who ever heard of a burger and salad? If you have a dining companion, dont actually expect to eat together. My dining companion didnt get their food until after 45 minutes after mine. So I waiting until my companion got their meal..so it was a cold burger and salad. Spoke with Management who said they would give bonus points to Hilton Honors Account rather than a refund to my credit card as this was unacceptable. Poimts Never showed up. Don't worry Hilton Corporate will hear about it as its November and have 29 nights this year with more to come before end of year.
