My recent stay at the Crown Prince Hotel in Ventura was truly outstanding, and I’m happy to share a detailed review of the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. Their professionalism and warm attitude set a positive tone for our entire stay. The biggest and most pleasant surprise was that we were given the Presidential Suite — and at an incredibly low price. It felt like an unexpected upgrade into luxury. The suite was spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. The living area offered plenty of room to relax, the bedroom had a premium hotel-quality bed, and the overall layout was perfect for both rest and leisure. Every corner of the suite was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully furnished. The hotel itself has a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. Whether you’re enjoying the lobby, walking through the hallways, or spending time in your room, everything feels calm and welcoming. The attention to detail is noticeable — from the cleanliness to the quality of amenities. The location in Ventura is another advantage. It’s close to the beach, restaurants, and local attractions, making it convenient for exploring the area without long drives. Parking was easy, and the check-in and check-out processes were smooth and fast. Overall, our stay at the Crown Prince Hotel was exceptional. The combination of excellent service, a luxurious suite, and an unbeatable price made the experience unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ventura who wants comfort, quality, and great value.

Amazing views. Walking distance to the longest pier in California which is the Ventura Pier. Rooms are super clean and bed was very comfortable. The whole hotel was amazing. My husband and I made another reservation to come on New Year’s Eve.

The only thing good about this place is the location. Other then that that the rooms are outdated I had nicer rooms at motel 6. Sadly . The view is nice. Pool not working and locked kind of sucked 😒 but honestly for the price not worth it. And if you book a room with a view you better double check its a actual room with a view. Beocuse I booked a room with ocean view and ended up with a room over looking the hotel next door and construction equipment.. you can see the water if you step on balcony and on top fo that they gave us a handicap room.. the parking is a bit ridiculous its in a parking garage with homeless people walking around .. not sure how this is a 3.5 star hotel. Like I said been to motel 6 that where nicer and cleaner .. for sure ill never stay here ever again. Not worth the money.. also make sure you check your ac filters becouse purs where nasty

This hotel has such a wonderful location close to the ocean & downtown, you'd wonder why they lack in everything else. The website and app say there is a hot tub but alas that does not exist. The carpets in the halls smell very old and decrepit and there is scaffolding on both sides with views (to be fair this is explained when booking) it just looks awful. Also never stay on the second floor cause you just see and hear ac units all day and night. Won't stay here again.

Just checked in. I booked an “ocean view king “ room, but my view was highway and train tracks. The wonderful reception desk attendant (best part of the experience so far) moved me to a room closer to the water and on the other side of the building. Still, I have a view of the highway, no ocean views unless I go out on the patio. It is extremely loud with the highway traffic, trains, and constant train horns. The limited view I have is obscured by construction scaffolding. This is not looking like a relaxing beach vacation. Will update during my stay. 10:45pm- there is a very loud, not very good, band playing outside and this single pane glass is not cutting it. They did not warn me during booking or at check in. 11:15pm-band is still going hard, I called the front desk and they said the band was supposed to end at 11 but that they have no control over it. I was also informed, only after I asked, that there will be bands all day tomorrow too. I have ear plugs and a white noise machine going, but they are no match for their sound system. Absolutely no rest for me. I hate it here 11:30pm-band finally stopped, but now there are loud partygoers that are so loud that it sounds like they are on my balcony. And the walls are so thin, I can hear people walking and chatting in the hallway, and doors opening and closing. I would leave if I could. 5:58am - there is a high pitched, loud, rapid, beeping that jolts me awake. I’m scrambling to find out if it’s a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide detector, phone alert, etc. after searching the room, I see it’s the bedside alarm clock, set for 5:55am. With the lights on, and some button pressing, I turn off the alarm and see that there is a second alarm set for 7:22am. I think I turned that one off too, hopefully. Ugh
