I travel every week for work and you don't always know about the areas you are traveling to. There is nothing around the hotel (walking distance) except a Dennys and a diner inside a car dealership and you have to cross a very busy street to get to it. The worst part..... and no, not the hotel's fault, I was woken up just after midnight by someone in the next room trying to open the adjoining room doors, and he was putting a lot of effort into it. They were still up at 6am when I had to leave and they were still up and violently arguing at noon when I returned. I stayed one night of a seven night reservation and checked out. Yes.... I could have asked to switch rooms but I just didn't feel safe in general.
