  Very inattentive service at the buffet. We waited over 25-40 mins for our server to refill our drinks or take our next order. Gambling has been really tight probably due to recent renovations to the casino floor. For looser slots and better air quality, we highly recommend Barona Casino.

  Came in for some slots and The Buffet and entered the queue at 8:20pm. Was seated around 8:35 pm. Immediately gave a salad order and drink order which came quickly. Main Orders taken at 8:45 and food at 8:55. Pretty good service…. But tell me why our server approached us speaking to only the youngest person at our table and in Spanish…. I speak Spanish. She speaks Spanish- but our entire party doesn’t and they were very confused. 4 minutes after our main plates arrived our server returned and we were told kitchen closes at 9:10. Which was 16 minutes away…. Our server insisted we ordered immediately. We ordered some tacos we didn’t try on our first order, deserts, and coffee. Several of our deserts were missing, our coffee never came, and our drinks were never refilled. For a place that has mandatory tipping it seemed a little outrageous that basic steps of service were completely ignored. I felt like I was bothering our server when I asked for things and eventhough she repeated things back to me they never came- so not sure if that was an issue with server input or food runner issues. Also, I’ve lived in San Diego 21 years and I can say that was the worst fish taco I’ve ever had in my life. Also, it was my birthday dinner and I work in the restaurant industry so bad service on your birthday is pretty much the worst thing you can have. Also, we called in a reservation at 7pm since we know Sunday crowds can be bigger but when we arrived the hostess told us our reservation was already called hours ago…. Which made absolutely no sense. Just left confused and bloated from competitive times eating.

  -10/10. This place absolutely blows. How are you going to call yourself San Diego’s favorite casino when you only have 8 table games. I have had more fun in oceans elevens. No Baccarat, 1 roulette table, 5 blackjack tables, 4 poker takes and 1 million slot machines. You should be a disgrace to the gambling community. I do not recommend coming here. Apart from all my negativity my Moscow mule was tasty and affordable. 👍

  Patties and Pints. 3/20/26. Tuna salad was excellent. Server forgot to order my 22 oz beer. My chicken sandwich was burned (smelled and tasted burned). Itemized bill showed order items with suggested total price including 20% tip. When they brought the credit card receipt to sign, it included the 20% tip as the subtotal and asked for a tip. Worse, the waiter did not bring back the itemized receipt. I inquired. He returned and said he “forgot to tell me about the automatic 20% tip was already included.” This amounts to tip fraud. Be careful.

  I like coming to Valley View Casino most of the time ,some of the staff in the restaurant and other food venue are really great ,kind, caring & some of them really know what you want right of the batt. Like Celene In the Cafe restaurant . In the buffet Susan, Yvonne & the twin brothers. Also Ryan the manager is awesome too he make sure customers are being treated right . In any rate today 3/18/2026 . I went to Snax & Stix to order my food however, the cashier in duty seems to be in a hurry to leave the place and said they will be right with me . The incoming cashier & the outcoming cashier are chatting while I am still standing in line waiting to be called while the incoming cashier left and came back to count her money drawer mean while I am still standing waiting granted it's only two of us & the place is not busy yet. We'll, thanks to Amanda who came from nowhere & start taking my order while the incoming cashier is just behind the scene for what ever reason . These are the few things that your stuff need to take in any consideration regarding customers the less they stand in line waiting to be serve the better your casino floor will be making money ..Thank you for your time and I still like coming to your Casino.
