  Kalem at the front desk was amazingly helpful and had a great positive attitude which was very nice after a long travel day. He went above and beyond. Rooms were clean, beds are comfortable.

  An absolutely outstanding experience!!! The young lady at the Front Desk (Jasmine) deserves a special "shout out' for her fast, friendly, and extremely efficient service. We have stayed at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Vacaville in the past and our stays have always been so comfortable and carefree that our FIRST CALL was to HIE&SV to arrange another stay, and Jasmine had everything arranged in less than 3 minutes. Now, THAT'S service and she is just one of many reasons why we ALWAYS stay at HIE&S when we are in Vacaville. FIVE STAR service and FIVE STAR quality -- EVERY TIME!! *****+.

  This Holiday Inn Express near the Vacaville Premium Outlets is probably one of the best Holiday Inn Express properties I have stayed at. The hotel offers the usual conveniences you expect from the brand, including free parking, but what really makes this place stand out are the many small details that are done particularly well. The staff at check-in were very friendly and welcoming, which immediately created a positive first impression. One feature that deserves special mention is the guest laundry. There are multiple washers and dryers available, which is very convenient for travelers. In addition, the hotel offers a large selection of laundry detergents and products for purchase, and the prices for both the machines and the detergent are very fair. The pool and hot tub area is also well organized, with plenty of towels available. There is even a pleasant outdoor seating area where guests can sit or relax. Another nice touch is the complimentary refreshments in the lobby. There are free cookies and free coffee, including decaf, along with a wide selection of sugar options, flavor syrups, and other additions. A particularly nice surprise was the happy hour from 5 to 7 pm, where guests can enjoy three different wines and two different beers free of charge. The hotel itself appears quite new and very well maintained. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the shower has excellent water pressure. The room equipment is of high quality, and the interior feels noticeably more premium than what you typically expect from this category. A standout feature is the lighting: the room is unusually bright, which is a big plus. The TV is very large, which adds to the comfort. Another thoughtful detail is the coat-hanging area near the entrance, something that has unfortunately become quite rare in many hotels today. Very practical as well: both sides of the bed have multiple power outlets and USB-A charging ports. As an IHG member, I also received a printed summary of my current points balance directly on the room key sleeve, which is a small but genuinely impressive touch. It shows that the hotel pays attention to details throughout the entire guest experience. The breakfast area is also very well designed. There are plenty of seating options, and they are not cramped, which makes the space feel comfortable and relaxed. The layout of the breakfast buffet is spacious and well organized, so you never feel like you are in anyone’s way and can easily access everything. While this is generally expected at Holiday Inn Express, this property does it particularly well: the staff consistently ensure that food is replenished, everything is kept clean, and the entire breakfast experience runs smoothly. This level of attention is noticeable and very much appreciated. Overall, the staff are extremely friendly, the hotel is well maintained, and the price-performance ratio is very good. This property clearly demonstrates how much of a difference attention to detail makes. An excellent option when staying in the Vacaville area.
