Reason for staying to this property : We visited “Joshua tree national park” around end of Dec 2025 and stayed in this property for 1 Night. Room Type : It was a “2 Queen Standard” room Room Size & cleanliness (5/5) : Size was decent and was highly clean. Mountain Facing (5/5) : We requested for a mountain facing room at higher floor and got that. You can see the “Sunrise” from your room and it was beautiful! Service (4/5) : Service was good but I still think that there is room to improve that part. Breakfast (5/5) : Breakfast was complementary and there were good options. More importantly, People was continuously refilling and real hot breakfast was served. Price (4/5) : We paid $318 with taxes for a small room which I feel at higher side. Onsite Restaurant: There is NO onsite restaurant. Microwave: Yes Convenience to Joshua Tree Nation Park (5/5) : It’s very close to Joshua Tree National Park North entrance and you can plan your trip accordingly. Challenges that we faced : Back door is under maintenance and going to car was little troublesome but you can manage it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and thanks to the entire holiday inn twentynine Palms team for great 👍 work!

So many things are just closed down and are not working. It also doesn‘t seem like it will get fixed in the near time. The stay here was underwhelming.

I asked for a special request and "we don't do that" with the most condescending rudest voice I've ever heard in my life. He didn't even ask for my name or what reservation I had even though it's a 7-day reservation and I have an entire crew underneath me coming with me and now all of us will be looking for a different hotel due to that one person front desk. And by the way he will not answer the phone now after trying for 20 minutes. What a horrible staff member to have on a crew where you're only job is customer service and hospitality. Also he cancelled my reservation without me asking or knowing!!!! WONT GIVE ME HIS NAME!!!! Highly recommend you look for a different hotel.
