    Very disappointed, I was never told when we booked we were going to be without water during the day, can use the bathroom or shower. Unacceptable!!!!!

    I only gave two stars because the rooms are clean and the beds comfy but I took 3 away because on top of being way outdated... 1 the carpets throughout the hotel are filthy, stains, lots of dirt. Elevators full of dirt. I understand their are construction workers who stay but vacuum damn.. secondly took another star away for the bland nasty breakfast, and lastly the "dove" products in the shower are in fact NOT dove... really that hard up to fill dove containers with cheap soaps. Nice!

    This hotel is run down, overpriced and very poorly managed. See attached photos of the bathroom wall inside our room and the stained hallway carpet in front of the room. People smoke on the bench in front of the main entrance. There isn't even a choice of milk offered for breakfast (skim milk only) and the ice machine was broken on the main floor. This is an IHG property. We could have had a better stay at Motel 6. The owner of this hotel is taking advantage, and it's obvious whoever manages doesn't care. The other IHG properties where we stayed on our recent trip were very good. 29 Palms, Las Vegas and Pahrump, NV, couldn't have been better. The Tehachapi property is gross and disgusting. "We strive to make each stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible ..." Don't be deceived by the copy & paste response posted below. It is bogus and insincere. Management is full of hubris and has absolutely no respect for people who stay here. I would never recommend to anyone.
