  WARNING BED BUGS IN BEST WESTERN MOUNTAIN INN HOTEL!!! I am giving this hotel 0 star! Me, best friend and her kids went to this hotel for 3 days straight, for my best friend son's baseball game. We all left on the 3rd day; while 3 days later after coming back home from the hotel. I woke up and noticed there were bumps on both of my legs; so I decided to take some  medication for it. The next it got worse and worse the bumps got big and redder, so I decided to go to the emergency. While being seen by a doctor he asked me, "Have you been to any hotels recently?" I told he yes I have;  right when the doctors examenated me he told me, "You have bed bugs bites." I was so pissed off when I heard this bad news. So the next day I called the hotel and told them I got bed bug bites from being in your hotel. The lady didn't believe me and she basically called me a liar! I spoke to my friend and she told me, her five year old son got bed bugs bites as well. We will be getting to the bottom of this; it is not okay for a hotel company to be having bed bugs  and not do anything about it!

  Best Western Mountain Inn, Tehachapi, CA really enjoyed our stay, planned on a one night stay, but ended up staying 4 night. Clean rooms, great breakfast, workout room, pool and jacuzzi. Everything we needed. Most importantly the staff was friendly and took great care of us.

  Stayed here while thru-hiking the PCT. Moved over here after a wonderful night at La Quinta to be more centrally located and I wish I hadn't. La Quinta's wifi actually worked and the people were very nice. The Best Western checked us in an hour and a half late because they were still cleaning. I understand this happens and didn't complain in the least. When they finally gave me the room key, the room was still being cleaned so I sat outside and waited another 15 minutes. Today before check out, I inquired about a late check out and they said no. I told them I had been checked in almost 2 hours later and I just needed a little more time. I asked to speak with the manager and the woman on the phone said she was the manager and there was nobody else I could speak to about this. On top of everything, she walked into the room without a knock or ANY warning over 30 minutes before checkout time. What if I had been naked in there? I would recommend staying somewhere else in this area as $100/night doesn't get you what you expect from a Best Western. Non-functioning wifi, shorter room stay, and rude management. HIGHLY recommend the La Quinta instead!
