I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and it has always been a decent, if not fancy place to stay. However, my last visit I was charged $60 extra with no explanation. When I called the hotel, they said it was for “three towels”, with the implication being that I walked off with them. Yes, three crummy hotel towels, which I neither wanted, needed, or took. And I am a rewards member. Of course I have complained, both to the hotel directly, and to Best Western, but to date, the charge has not yet been reversed. Maybe it will, but either way, I definitely will not be staying there again.

No one at the desk when I needed someone to be there. I have a cat with me and they DID NOT state that there's a strict no pet policy here, I booked on booking.com. I've called the front but no answer and also waited for someone to come to aid me. It's very late for any pet hotel options for me and had to sleep in my car!!!

Steer clear if you plan on spending any time in the room. For 1, parking is 10$ a night. Yes its not much but having to pay for parking when you're paying for the room is wild. 2. Theres small annoying things. The TV for example has basic cable that works 20% of the time. Its a "smart tv" but they have the network restricted and you're unable to connect it. The only option you get is to connect to the TVs network to cast from say your phone or laptop. Only issue is when you connect to the TVs network, it has 0 internet so you can't access any of your streaming apps...the location is great but when you want to unwind in your room, you're limited.

I wasn't surprised that this hotel had many bad reviews, when we arrived they said it was fully booked but there were only a few cars parked. Once I went into t&e room, it looked creepy and sketchy. My husband couldn't even sleep due to the wind banging on the door all night and the suddent power outages. When I went to get some breakfast the milk said it wasn't expired but yet it was clumpy. My family and I went to McDonalds to get some breakfast instead. Wouldn't recommend coming here unless you want bad experiences. Dont trust online booking until you read the reviews. Cheaper doesn't mean better.

We have stayed at this BW many times over the years and prior experiences have been fine. Not sure if management changed but this visit seemed different and the rooms need a little attention. It is an older and bit dated hotel but we always felt safe, clean enough (carpeting and other room amenities should be noticed when to fix or replace with new), staff nice and check in check out easy. We usually book thru BW account, then present physical card to charge when checking in. I knew total cost and had not noticed $5 parking in the reservation had been charged. Before arriving I saw their website said BW members get free parking. So when we checked in and I was told it was $10 for parking I mentioned their website says parking is free for BW members. He said that is for gold, silver and platinum levels only (I am blue) so no free parkingfor us. I did not argue and checked website again after we got to room and I was indeed correct (no levels are shown). Oddly Best Western customer service was little help as their system shows $5 parking, but she called the hotel and got $5 refunded. But I am still out $10 parking charged at check in when I should not have been charged for parking at all according to their website. We like the area, it's easy to walk to the beach even though you are on the highway side, and enough places to walk to eat too. It is fairly quiet in the rooms we have stayed. Breakfast options are typical and okay. Gym is minimal but gets you by. Parking has never been an issue albeit not many spaces. No pool or jacuzzi but we usually get a room with a jacuzzi tub. Most BWs we stay may charge $10 for parking but clearly state it as such and tend to have a gift for rewards members. No love at this BW for BW members. I am hesitant to return to this one.
