  Nice 3 star hotel. The room was nice, good size, comfortable bed & shower. Breakfast was good, until 9am though... had non-dairy milk but no gluten-free options.

  Easy to walk many locations - about a mile to CalTrain and historic Sunnyvale. Great bed, good shower, clean room. Breakfast is very complete and the staff is friendly.

  3 nights/days of poor sleep because none of the rooms had no blackout curtains and the rooms very soo bright in the morning with the shades & blinds. Paid a really good price to stay as well. I assumed blackout curtains are basic in hotels priced high so i did not check before booking and in the past rooms that i booked which had blackout curtains listed also had other windows in the same room which weren’t blacked out. No refund /partial refund offered. Further edit: seems like the manager has responded to my original review. But I don't know what he his talking about - the rooms had no black out. Whatever he is claiming it to have did absolutely nothing and the room was extremely bright. I don't understand how he would've moved me to a different room had I mentioned it on the first night because the cleaners and the manager himself said all the rooms had the same system for the windows and there was no real blackout. After the second day of stay there, I did indeed ask the front desk if they had a diff room for the 3rd night and they said all rooms same and i would have to ask the manager in the morning next day. I am further dropping the stars I can give to 1 from my original rating of 2. Three days of waking up at 6:30 am with bright sunlight disrupted my sleep cycle so badly that even after going home, i am waking up at 6:30 am even though I am going to bed at 12 am. The lack of sleep has disrupted my hormones to such an adverse extent that I have missed my period and it has been over 6 days from having missed it with it being very normal otherwise. One star less because of the way the manager treated me at the end while leaving. He simply snubbed me saying I missed out reading the hotel amenities before booking but black out should've been a basic given the high price point of the hotel. They offered no refund and they really did not have any means to change my room as well to a different room and now they are even lying that they would've arranged for a different room when they really had no solution. Also I don't remember asking for any upgrade on the room - i had booked it as a king bedroom - all I had asked was a second floor room and away from the streets which sure was honored. But it's not like I got ones of those rooms with the bathtub and like I said - black out should've been a basic feature given the price of the stay.

  I was after a simple, clean, reliable hotel located close to the freeway, and this exactly suited my needs. Only reason for the 4 stars for location is that you can hear street traffic, but wasn't a problem for me. Would definitely stay again if I need a hotel in the Sunnyvale area.
