  I would’ve easily gave this hotel five stars if they had better customer service and better Wi-Fi. Some of the front desk agents are inconsiderate and unnecessarily disrespectful for a hospitality job. As for the Wi-Fi, I dealt with connectivity issues at one of the rooms in the back building exactly a year ago and they told me they were gonna fix it soon enough. I got the back building again the second time and they’re still dealing with the same issue it’s disappointing. They had the entire year to fix it but they never did. That’s why I gave this hotel two stars despite being a beautiful hotel at a convienent location. They need to do better like seriously

  The room and facilities are generally in line with the Best Western Plus quality and style as expected. The front desk service was excellent—very friendly, and the check-in process was fast and smooth. The room and bathroom appear to have been renovated; the fixtures and equipment all look new and well-maintained, and the wall sound insulation is very good (you won’t be disturbed by noise from neighboring rooms). However, aside from the surface-level renovation and new furniture, some of the hardware still feels less than ideal. For example, my bathroom exhaust fan doesn’t work at all, so odors and humidity cannot be properly vented. This forces you to open the balcony door or the door to create airflow circulation, which is really not practical on cold winter nights. The room door also doesn’t close quietly and smoothly, and when it shuts, it makes a very loud banging sound with the frame. Several times in the early morning, I was woken up by the neighbor across the hall or next door repeatedly opening and closing their door four or five times. The restaurant hardware also seems inadequate. Although the kitchen staff were very attentive and the food was about what you’d expect, the number of dining tables is extremely limited. Especially during the few days after Christmas when many tourists and families come up the mountain to ski, the indoor restaurant simply doesn’t have enough tables and chairs to accommodate peak breakfast crowds. And the entry space is also limited for both people to get into and line up for meals while someone tries to exit. The outdoor seating is completely unusable in winter, and the low morning temperatures make eating outside impractical anyway, so people end up taking their food back to their rooms. Overall, the staff (especially kitchen and service team) tried their best and were very hardworking—you can only tip them to thank them for keeping up with refilling food and promptly clearing tables despite the limitations.
