I wasn't aware that part of upgrading from Best Western to Hilton includes upgrading the variety of bugs available in your room! I had to doublecheck it wasn't called the 'Bugestry' collection or perhaps 'Tapestry' has latin roots with entomologic patterns. Having been a Hilton Honors member for 20+ years, maybe they were 'honoring' us with no other rooms available and such a variety and large amount of visitors? Decided to try this place to be near the Sonoma Tree Lighting (it is a great location) but sorry to say we will not be staying here again. I dare to say that at most Hiltons they would do something other than offer to spray toxins in your room with 2 small kids? I mean, how about a couple of free drinks to make our vision a little blurrier so the bugs weren't that obvious?
On the bright side, if you are working on your graduate studies in entomological scientists or have magnifying glasses and curious children, no need to look outside for insect wildlife!

Decent hilton mid level semi limited service sub brand. Clean spacious room accurately described on app.
Room appointments better than many competitors. Today's "new motor inn" but with parking fee in a small town/ city.

This was the worst Hilton I have ever stayed at... the staff/policies are ridiculously rigid and not customer oriented. Also note there are no elevators. .. have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Housekeeping is very poor. Pls note there is no fitness center on site! It is about .7 miles away and you literally have to sign 3 documents each time you want to check out the pass. We had to ask 4 days for something to be fixed in our room before it actually got done. Not even free coffee in lobby.

Good hotel and great location! What made it even better was that I left a very special and expensive necklace behind. I called and asked the gentleman at the front desk if the cleaning staff found it and they did not. After sitting on the idea that it was gone forever, I called back and begged him to check the safe for me as maybe I left it in there. It had been days since I checked out and people stayed in the room after me so it was unlikely. However, he willingly checked and it was there! I am now across the country and in receipt of my necklace. There are still good and honest people in this world! Thank you Sonoma Valley Inn!

The main issue was the staff’s attitude. The housekeepers were friendly and professional, but the front desk was among the rudest I’ve ever encountered. If you really press them, they might help, but their default tone is dismissive and unwelcoming.
I booked this stay specifically to have a quiet place to work during the day, but that wasn’t possible due to unannounced property maintenance that created excessive noise. I had to leave the room to get any work done. When I asked for a 2 p.m. checkout the following day as a courtesy, they refused.
The ice machines were out of order, there was undisclosed maintenance, communication was curt and unhelpful, and nearly all amenities were closed for most of my stay. The courtyard was also loud, with music blasting over the hot tub area.
Take a look at their response to my message if you want a preview of how they handle guest concerns. I felt my request was reasonable—three additional hours for the five hours of noise that disrupted my stay—but they couldn’t accommodate even that.
