  Micah helped us a lot over the week we stayed for our conference and was a pleasure to be around. Always had lots of towels and the cleaning crew was so efficient tackling everything systematically so we had a great stay

  I don’t had any major problems with this hotel. I felt like there were a few minor things but it did appear they were renovating some parts, so I’m not going to complain about things they are actively trying to make better. The best part of this hotel is by far the swimming area! It’s really quite fun and setup perfectly for families, especially if you have a poolside room. Which if you are there with your family I highly recommend getting a pool side room! I found the AC struggled to keep room comfortable, and the only other thing was it was a hockey camp/convention of 10+ year old boys. This isn’t the hotels fault, 10 year old boys can be “a lot”. We didn’t have any crazy bad experiences, just a noisey experience. Outside of all that, I felt like the hotel is trying to be better than what it once was. If swimming is your priority, this place is probably the second best place in Regina, but the affordability makes it one of the best!

  You walk down the hallway and it smells like someone took a piss. They have a strong smelling plug in to mask whatever smells creep up. Almost no plug ins for anything. Hotel is located in the middle of nowhere if you want to walk around do it during the day. We arrived at night and found someone riding a bike and checking all the cars.

  Rooms are great,pool is awesome, customer service could be better and more productive. We cam from midale for camp currently staying here till the 13th and have asked since the 10th to speak to the manager and have been repeatedly told "I have to ask my mananger; come back at this time" and still hasn't fully been dealt with.

  I would not stay at the Seven Oaks Hotel Regina, SureStay Collection by Best Western again. We had to change rooms shortly after arriving because our first room was not properly cleaned. There was hair and lint in the sink and bathtub, the floors were dirty, and the room showed significant wear. Around the base of the bed, old damaged carpeting appeared to have been covered with material rather than properly replaced. The second room was somewhat better, but there was still hair and lint in the bathtub, sinks and on the bathroom floor. There were also remnants of old party decorations stuck in the corners near the ceiling and the room had a distinct mildew smell. Throughout the night, an extremely loud mechanical/vent release occurred approximately every 10–20 minutes. The front desk explained that it was related to the air-conditioning system. The noise was sudden and loud enough to wake me repeatedly, and between that and guests yelling in nearby rooms, I did not sleep that night. The pool and waterslide were the main reason we chose this hotel, and unfortunately this was the most concerning part of our stay. My children tried the waterslide once and did not want to use it again. The surface was badly peeling in places and scratched their backs as they went down. The slide felt unstable to them, and the stairs leading up to it were visibly deteriorated. The pool area overall appeared to be in significant disrepair. There was extensive rust and deterioration around the overhead ventilation and ductwork, peeling and damaged surfaces, and heavily worn stairs. The carpeting near the bottom of the stairs had a strong odour of dampness and urine, and the pool area itself had a very unpleasant smell. I understand the hotel is undergoing renovations, but this was not simply an older hotel in need of updating or a minor inconvenience caused by construction. In my opinion, some areas were in such poor condition that they should have been closed, properly cleaned and fully renovated before continuing to be made available to paying guests. Patchwork or cosmetic repairs do not address the underlying condition of the property. I raised my concerns with the hotel and was given a 25% discount. While I appreciate that they acknowledged there were problems, I do not feel that was an adequate resolution. We encountered cleanliness issues in two separate rooms, a persistent mildew smell, I was unable to sleep because of the repeated mechanical noise, and the pool and waterslide we specifically chose the hotel for were in extremely poor condition. Given the overall experience, I believe a full refund would have been more appropriate. Based on the cleanliness, maintenance, overnight noise and particularly the condition of the pool and waterslide area, I cannot recommend this hotel in its current condition and would not stay here again.
