My parents stay here whenever they're in Regina, and they always have an amazing experience. Huge shoutout to Kadia! She's always so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and my parents always talk about how great she is after every stay. It's honestly become their favorite hotel because they know they'll always be taken care of. Thanks, Kadia, for making every visit such a great one!
Hotel was ok other than it smelled musty , you could smell it as soon as you walked in the Hotel. Was even in the hall way most likely in the carpet due to the pool but not had that before w other hotels.

We got the accessible room. So there was one queen bed in it. Best part was the grab bars around the toilet and tub.
The toilet - it ran the whole night. The fridge - just as loud as the toilet. No, they were not in harmony.
The pool was warm. The hot tub was warmer. They were cleaning the pool on Thursday morning - which is good. By 8:30pm there had been enough people in the hot tub, that it was visibly dirty so I wasn't going in it.
The trolley was broken - at least one of the two.
The exercise room was clean but spartan, at least for as many floors and rooms there were.
This has the potential to be a very nice place. It seems management has let deferred maintenance pile up - the fridge, the toilet, and the trolley need attention.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Regina, Saskatchewan, and had an excellent experience.
I have Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS), which can make travel challenging because many hotel rooms contain fragrances or cleaning products that affect my ability to breathe comfortably. Finding suitable accommodations is often difficult.
From the moment I contacted the hotel, the staff went out of their way to help. Christiana was extremely helpful and took my concerns seriously. She also involved the hotel's General Manager, Niza, to assist with accommodating my disability.
Niza did everything she could to ensure I had a room that worked for me. She even arranged for a maintenance employee to come to my room and remove a block from the window so it could be opened fully, allowing for additional fresh air. That level of care and accommodation is something I greatly appreciated.
The contrast with my experience at the Holiday Inn Express in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, was significant. I had originally planned to stay there, but the manager and staff showed little interest in accommodating my disability. A staff member there named Prince tried, but his manager would not allow me to make a reservation subject to me being able to use the room. It was disappointing the Swift Current location refused to accommodate my disability, especially considering both properties are part of the same hotel chain.
If you travel with environmental sensitivities, fragrance sensitivities, or Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, I would absolutely recommend the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Regina at 1800 Prince of Wales Street The staff demonstrated genuine care, professionalism, and a willingness to accommodate guests with special needs.
A sincere thank you to Christiana, Niza, and the entire team for making my stay comfortable and accessible.
