  check in was quick and the receptionist was nice. small lounge, small hotel, small rooms but very clean and upgraded. the outdoor area flooring looks fabulous and clean with a few nice tables and chairs right before you enter the outdoor pool. the rooms are clean and beds comfy with cushion topped and firm underlay. the rooms, however, are small so if you got a family, don't look to spend too much time in the room unless you're on the beds all day. the toilet paper needs to be upgraded as it dissolves upon use before going into the toilet. this might be good for plumbing but not so good for the guests. seems like lots of business guests come here as doors started opening and closing at 530 so if you're a light sleeper, the room fan or other white noise might help. breakfast is full and good, couple vegetarian hot egg options means they're looking out for their non meat customers. will I stay again, definitely, esp if it's short term or a solo trip. might have to hunt around if I bring my family due to room size.

  Excellent customer service without me even prompting it. I made an error in booking the wrong room type and the two ladies at the front desk took the time to solve the problem I made. I offered a generous tip after the issue was resolved but was politely declined. Amazing.

  The hotel staff are VERY helpful and nice! The hotel's location is excellent - close to highway, shopping, restaurants - anything one might need when away from home. Very clean rooms and common areas. We look forward to our next visit!

  This Holiday Inn Express in Santa Rosa is an overall average property. It is perfectly fine for a short stay, but it does not quite reach the level of some of the newer Holiday Inn Express hotels. The room size is adequate, but noticeably smaller compared to more modern properties. The room itself was very clean, which is definitely a strong point. The bathroom, however, is less well designed. There is very limited counter space, making it difficult to organize personal items. In addition, there is no practical storage for an extra roll of toilet paper, which feels like a small but unnecessary inconvenience. The breakfast area is good, and one aspect stands out in a very positive way: a young female staff member was thoroughly cleaning the tables after each guest, which shows a strong focus on cleanliness and hygiene. In terms of location, it is important to request a room away from the freeway. Otherwise, noise may become an issue and could affect the overall comfort of the stay. Overall: A clean and functional hotel with decent breakfast service, but with some shortcomings in room design and overall feel. It is okay, but nothing special.
