The grounds were really pretty and I can see why it's called the Garden Inn. The location was excellent and there are many food places and restaurants within walking distance. The room was very clean and I can tell it had recently been renovated or touched up. Everything was spotless and bright. The bed was very comfortable and there were many lamps on the room for adequate lighting. I just cannot stress the cleanliness enough. I dislike when I stay in a hotel room that's looks like it's seen better days. This room wasn't like that at all! All of the staff at this hotel were very friendly and sweet. Everyone smiled and said hello. Breakfast was not included with the stay but they have an on-site café where you can pay for Breakfast. The café was very clean and cozy and welcoming. The staff was very sweet and our service was excellent. The food was very affordable and delicious! I thought it was a great value and it was so convenient to be able to walk to the café from our room. We went both mornings that we were there. The hotel is also dog friendly which is a huge plus! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the jacuzzi was closed during our stay. That was very disappointing as we chose this particular location for the jacuzzi. That's part of the experience when you stay at a hotel and part of the amenities that you pay for. It's something we really enjoy in the evenings when we stay at a hotel. So hopefully they get that fixed and have it open year round for guests. Especially during winter.
