Melanie was thorough and kind, and I feel she changed my entire attitude after getting to speak with her. She fixed the overcharge and was sweet. Thank you Melanie!
- VVVista VetteNov 13, 20252.0The biggest reason for the one-star room is that that the bed in the room I had was totally shot, it needs to be replaced. As soon as I sat down on it, the mattress sloped to the side and as you're laying on it, you feel like you're laying on an angle. Very uncomfortable. It's the most important part of the room and if that's not right, nothing else really matters. Other considerations: There is no free breakfast at this location, but they do have a small restaurant. In fairness, the website doesn't indicate that there is free breakfast but it's something that I've become used to having at BW locations. Staff: The night person was great, super nice and accommodating. The morning staff was useless. I walked into the office to grab some coffee and was totally ignored by the two people that were in there. A bit later I walked in to turn in my keys and the woman working there was at a desk in the back, I think watching TV or her phone, an never even turned around or cared that I walked in. I dropped the key cards in the tray and left. Overall this is a fail.

The very modest exterior made us wonder if we had made a mistake, and the room looked like a time warp from 1960, but the room was very spacious, and the beds very comfortable. The next morning we realized that our room came with a really lovely patio "back yard." We stayed several days, liking it better each day. We had to pay for breakfast, but not that much, and the quality of the food was vastly superior to the typical freebie. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful.
