Second floor smelled like a dead animal the entire stay. There is no way they didn’t know and they should’ve preemptively rebooked everyone a different room as the smell was in the hallway and in the rooms. The new room upgrades are cheap and not at the level of what a Hilton should be. The only good things to say about the hotel is the location and the Starbucks downstairs.

I've stayed here in the past for a work trip and it needed an update. Now in November 2025 they are under construction and they have the majority of the hotel closed and blocked off. I tried to go to the restaurant on a Thursday evening for dinner and it was closed. When asking the front desk about it they stated that management closed the restaurant (even though it was open the night before) but didn't have any further explanation. So I had to Grubhub some dinner in since it was pouring rain outside. With the restaurant closed, there's nowhere to get a beer or a drink. The rooms were ok, but definitely not a "4-star" level of hotel. This hotel basically felt like an overpriced Hampton Inn with even less amenities (at least Hampton Inn you get a free breakfast). When I'm back in town for work I'll be staying somewhere else. Also note for fellow Diamond / Elite members, they don't have an executive lounge, despite what the listing on the Hilton website says (used to be on 8th floor but is closed permanently).

Stayed here for business at the end of September 2025. At this time the hotel was going through some renovations. I suspect with the Super Bowl coming up in 2026 there were tons of updates going on and all for the better. I stayed in a newly done room and it was just right. The furniture and decoration was updated as were the bathrooms. The property is located right next to Levi Stadium where the 49ers play and it is very convenient. It is also next tot he Great America amusement park. The hotel is located in Santa Clara within reach of many of the local tech companies and if in town for business can get around very easily. There is good dining nearby and easy to get to with ride share. I liked this property and for a Hilton brand well taken care of. It tends to be a bit high on the price but the location is probably why it is so. Would stay here again in the future when in the area.

Room size was decent and clean, loved their amenities - the shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and lotion are all Crabtree & Evelyn. The water heater is efficient. One thing though, they charge for overnight parking even for residents, probably due to its location close to stadium and convention centre.
Currently there is construction going on but I weren’t in the room during day time. The staff did pre-empt during checkin on the construction and potential disruption.
Overall stay was pleasant.
