This is a Christmas gift my wife and I give to each other every year for the last 4 years. I can't give a better review but I will try to be brief.
Location, absolutely incredible. 20 feet from the heart of State Street and all the stores, restaurants and stores.
Grounds are pretty simple there is no pool and no jacuzzi, but that's okay. The hotel itself is magnificent. The rooms aren't big, but they are a magnificent as well. The carpets are incredibly clean everything is updated, the bathrooms are neat and clean and the beds are extremely comfortable.
The valet is extremely efficient. All you have to do is text them and within two minutes, your car is ready to go.
A wonderful experience and its not just once its every time which should tell you that it's not a one and done.
Even though there may be other wonderful places to say in santa barbara, i will never stay anywhere else. That's how incredible this hotel is.

The best part of this hotel is the location right off State Street. The rooms and service are average and there aren't any on site facilities (no gym or office area, and the bar area is small). I've stayed here a few times now, and every time I think the same thing. Come here for the location. Compared to other hotels on State, it's reasonably priced. If you want a nicer hotel experience you can stay at a more expensive location on State or, if you want to be off State, consider the Hyatt which is ocean adjacent and comparable at times in price to the Hilton.

Easily the best place to stay and the most convenient location that’s very walkable. Aline at the front desk and Judith the manger are wonderful.

Our stay was perfect! The room was spotless and beautiful. The staff was incredible! So friendly and helpful! We loved riding bikes around town and the location can’t be beat! They even helped store our luggage on checkout day ensuring we could enjoy Santa Barbara until our final hour! I was super impressed and would definitely return for a future stay!
