  Went to the European Bar at the Warwick Hotel with my girlfriend for drinks few days ago . The bartender stepped away for a bit so I asked the manager at the front desk where the bathroom was, and he was rude and gave me attitude while he was on the phone. In the bathroom, I found a dead roach on the floor that was totally gross. I even saw another review mentioning a roach, which management dismissed as just a bug from outside, but clearly doesn’t seem the case. The drinks and food were actually good, but between the manager’s attitude and the roach, it ruined my experience.

  The stay could have been better if more attention had been paid to the cleanliness of the room. After housekeeping, our room had a very unpleasant smell, and it was difficult to stay inside. We didn’t report it to the front desk because we were very tired after the trip and didn’t have the energy to deal with the issue. We simply opened the window to let some fresh air in. As cheep price to stay for economic folks-yes. That place not for people who like comfort, comfort =hight price. The personal is was polite and nice.

  Disappointed overall with my stay at the Warwick. While the hotel itself is super nice & clean, I did NOT appreciate the hotel running my card without my authorization or consent. An entire day after check out I was charged and additional $148 to my debit card without an notification, request for authorization, or approval. On top of the $687 in charges I had pending to my checking account, an entire day after checkout the hotel ran my debit catch for an additional charge of which I gave ZERO consent to. Upon calling their accounting department, I was given ZERO explanation for the charge. In fact the hotel had ZERO record of the charge & stated they were trying to hold the amount for the room (of which they already had pending charges for). Of which now they had $835 now pending charges in my account (more than my actual reservation). On top of that the hotel continues to run my apple wallet for an additional $435- again without any authorization on my end. Again which the hotel is claiming they have zero record of. Extremely concerning that accounting dept and staff are unable to explain why they are running unauthorized charges, much less why they want to hold over $1,000 in pending charges to my account, all without proof of receipt. To be charging someone’s card almost double what the reservation is with no explanation, proof of receipt, or record of it on their end comes off as very concerning & fraudulent. Never have I had any hotel or establishment run my card or take payments from my account with consent or authorization.

  I truly cannot rate this hotel highly enough. We’ve been loyal customers of Warwick SF since 2024, when we had a terrible experience at a nearby hotel and needed to move after the first night. Nestor, who still works here to this day, checked us in at 9 am the next morning so our toddler could nap and made sure we had everything we needed. We’ve stayed in both the suites and most recently in the Superior Queen, and I love both. The rooms are thoughtfully appointed, have comfortable beds and nice amenities. The hotel is so clean, and the cleaning staff is so efficient and fastidious in their work. I’m just wrapping up another stay with my daughter, and I’m blown away again at the kindness of the staff and how well looked after I feel. We are so sad to be leaving, which you know is a mark of a good hotel and a great stay. We will always stay here when we come to SF, and our experience here has made us loyal customers of Warwick in general (shout out to the Seattle staff, who are also excellent!).

  Stayed at the Warwick for one night after seeing a show at the Orpheum and it was a great experience! Rooms are clean, spacious and decorated well. The hotel is connected to a great restaurant called Bota which has a very friendly server and chef. Special shoutout to the Warwick’s front desk manager, Nestor, who provided me a place to take work calls after checking out!
