  If possible, I’d give this hotel 6 stars. A terrific experience end-to-end. Been awhile since last visit but doorman remembered us. Check in was fast and easy. Room was spotless, maintained 2x daily by thorough housekeeping team [don’t forget to tip the hardest working folks in the hotel  ] Bathroom has a tub, shower stall, 2 sinks and separate toilet room. Water pressure is full so showers are quick. Mini bar with pod coffee maker. Very quiet despite center city location- we slept like babies. Plenty of outlets and a charging cord for your use while there. MKT restaurant is consistently good. Climate control is simple and works well in San Francisco's unpredictable weather. Every morning they stock complimentary coffee & tea station in the lobby with rotating muffins assortment. First night I went to the attached Equinox’s hot water dispenser to make herbal tea; then we realized they also offer complimentary tea nightly. One of the hotel’s best perks is free access to huge Equinox Sports Club downstairs. Equinox’s 3 floors offer weights, every machine you could imagine from ellipticals and treadmills to Soulcycles & stairmasters, 25 yard salt water lap pool, spa, steam room, sauna, the works. Bellman came right up to get our luggage when we called. Check out was fast and easy, bill was spot on accurate.

  Amazing hotel in great location. Close to Union square, shopping mall and facing Market street. Dine-in service was quick and efficient. Hotel Stuff was incredible. Something I didn’t know, you get access to Equinox gym which is on the 4th floor, otherwise I’d bring some workout clothes.

  The modern elegance and the exceptional level of service at this luxury hotel make it an absolutely premier destination for anyone who wants to experience the best of the city in a sophisticated and calm environment. I spent a long time relaxing in the spacious guest room because the floor to ceiling windows provide a stunning view of the skyline and the overall interior design is so refined that it feels like a private sanctuary in the middle of a busy district. I really loved the direct access to the Equinox sports club because the fitness facilities and the indoor pool are world class and it is a fantastic spot to stay active and unwind after a long day of exploring the nearby museums and galleries. The space is maintained with incredible attention to detail and I noticed that the staff are remarkably attentive and proactive in making sure that every aspect of your stay is personalized and comfortable from the moment you arrive at the front door. It is a must visit for any traveler who values a quiet and professional atmosphere that still offers immediate proximity to the best shopping and dining options in the Union Square area. I also appreciated the high quality dining at the hotel restaurant because the seasonal menu is very creative and the service is executed with a level of grace that truly reflects the reputation of this global brand. Even though it is a very popular location for business and leisure travelers alike the sense of privacy and the soundproofing in the rooms are excellent which ensures a very restful experience. I will definitely be returning here soon because the combination of the prime central location and the incredible hospitality is truly the gold standard for a luxury stay in the city.

  Our stay at Four Seasons San Francisco was one of those experiences that just felt right from start to finish. Every person we interacted with—reception, housekeeping, maintenance—was warm, capable, and genuinely kind, even during the chaos of Super Bowl weekend. The team handled the crowds and traffic without missing a beat. The thoughtful touches made the biggest impression: a lovely welcome gift on arrival and a perfectly timed snack box for our trip down to Levi’s Stadium—small details that truly matter when you’re on the go. Our room was comfortable and spotless (and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic). Dining was delicious, and access to Equinox was a real bonus with a great pool and quality fitness classes. Grateful to the entire team for making a busy weekend feel easy, relaxing, and special—we’d happily return.

  For my birthday we booked a room at The Four Seasons Hotel on Market and I must say our stay was INCREDIBLE. From the valet to the front desk, to the restaurant and bar, every single interaction we had was professional and pleasant. The room was huge with lots of natural light and offered a great view of Yerba Buena Garden. The most satisfying and minute detail that made me happy was the water pressure. The shower water felt so good you didn’t want to get out and the water was hot instantly. I also loved that the bathtub had very cool vintage water spout. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for an experience you won’t forget!!
