I had read similar comments before staying here and can confirm that the rooms, while recently renovated, have a very strong musty odor that never went away. The lobby has an overpowering fragrance, and by the time you reach your room, the combination of that scent and the damp, cellar-like smell is overwhelming. The AC unit also made strange noises (even when it was turned off). The room was quite small as well.
Overall, it’s an okay hotel, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Felt more like a 2/3 star hotel but definitely not 4. The one positive note is the friendly and helpful service from the staff.

I loved staying at the Triton Hotel. It’s literally across the street from the entrance to China Town. The lobby is gorgeous, and when you step into the elevator, it feels like you’re in Europe! Location is the best.

Overall, had a good stay at Hotel Triton. The cost was higher than normal due to Dreamforce. But, the service was great during this busy time. I liked the water dispenser they have on the 6th floor. We had left something in our rooms. Alice/Olga were very helpful and let us back into our room to find the item

N'importe quoi...
Je ne recommanderai vraiment pas cet hôtel...
