  I really like the set of hotels in this area, they revive the 1930s art deco style of hotels. This was pretty nice in that regard but a couple things gave a bad taste in my mouth. First they have 3 elevators, 2 of them were out for 3 days I was there. Then on the day I had to check out and leave at 6am to catch a 8am flight, the third one went out. I was on the 9th floor and this was a massive inconvenience. I was worried that Id miss my flight. When you have 2 elevators out, you better get on it before the last one goes out and everyone is screwed! Second, this is both minor, and kinda major. You had to go all the way downstairs to the lobby for coffee. On my checkout day, I got up at 5am and went for the coffee to find out that the last elevator was out. So no coffee. Made me hella grumpy all the way to catching my flight later. Just have a simple coffee maker in the rooms. Ill take crummy coffee you provide in the room in a pinch if I have to!

  Je suis extrêmement déçu par mon séjour dans cet hôtel 4 étoiles. À notre arrivée, nous avons immédiatement constaté qu’il y avait énormément de poussière dans la chambre. Pour un établissement de cette catégorie, le niveau de propreté est tout simplement inacceptable. Nous avons signalé le problème à la réception, mais aucune solution concrète ne nous a été proposée. Aucune intervention pour nettoyer la chambre, aucun geste commercial, et surtout aucune réelle considération pour notre inconfort. Le manque d’assistance face à un problème aussi basique est très décevant. De plus, nous avons constaté un manque de service concernant les demandes simples, comme faire apporter des bouteilles d’eau en chambre. Malgré notre sollicitation Cela enlève clairement à l’expérience attendue à ce niveau de standing. En résumé, un établissement qui ne correspond absolument pas aux standards annoncés. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel et j’espère que la direction prendra des mesures pour améliorer la qualité du service et la propreté.

  had a 3 Night stay at this hotel recently. while the rooms are clean, the size is too small( I stayed in a double queen bed room). On the first day, there was no room service, even to get water we were asked to go down and take it. Breakfast has just 2-3 items and if you are a vegetarian, you won't have it. the restaurant was under renovation so we had to hunt for hotels everyday for dinner. The only good part is the location of the hotel. it's jus 5 mins from union square, and you can take buses here to visit all SFO places. won't recommend if you are travelling with family. if you are travel alone and need fast access to places then you should stay here.

  Not my first time at this vintage hotel, but stayed at a medium size room this time. They've done a fair job of updating the rooms, nothing too fancy. The closet and drawer spaces are limited, and the table is tiny. But I love the sturdy designer chair and that the windows actually tilt open for fresh pacific night air. Bed is great, bring your USB charger though if you have several devices.

  Great location right near Union Square with plenty of food and shopping nearby. Staff was nice and room was nice. 4 stars as unexpected $35 nightly resort fee for.... Access to a on-site gym? No other amenities I can see that a Best Western wouldn't have without the resort fee.
