Experience started out very poor with a manager cancelling my reservation on the day of arrival without trying to contact me with a reason as to why. Turns out they had an expired credit card on file which could have easily been rectified if I had been called or emailed. If they were sold out or anything I could have been without a room and no options for my family. Thankfully, I contacted the front desk and a gentleman by the name of Skylar had answered, he assured me that getting my reservation reinstated would be no issue. Skylar was the reason that this stay was so wonderful, he’s so attentive, wonderful and genuinely caring, no to mention he works his behind off for this property. The hotel itself is nice, a little dated and could use a facelift (compared to other indigo properties) but the location and front facing people who work here are such a joy. Big shoutout to Skylar for being a rockstar, being accommodating and such a pleasure to deal with. Thank you! You’re great 😊

Hotel staff very friendly, professional (Helena is amazing super friendly, Gabriel super friendly, helpful always with a smile on his face). Valet service staff was great specifically Brandon and Donavon super professional, courteous, quick, and hard working watched them go above and beyond. Rooms were nice my only complaint is the motion sensor controlled air conditioning, if your awake and moving around works great but once I would fall asleep and be still it would turn off until I woke up hot and moved. If they would change the thermostats or turned that setting off I’d give it a full 5 stars

Tired and in disrepair. We were booked for three nights and only stayed for one. Our room was 78 degrees upon check-in and they attempted to fix it twice, without success. They were overbooked so we could not move to another room. The manage at one point told me the HVAC worked on a motion sensor (it does not), and that I needed to wait. The communication from the staff and manager was not always consistent. Overall the hotel has a lot of disrepair, looks very tired, and maintenance and cleaning is below standard. I would not recommend staying here.

Perfect if you're catching a game. We only stayed one night but would happily have stayed longer. It's within walking distance to Petco Park and our very spacious room had a great view of the park. Happy hour on the rooftop bar overlooking the park was also picture perfect. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, very spacious room. Parking is pricey but to be expensive with downtown area. Would be happy to stay there again if we didn't have the need for a car.

Overall, we had a good stay, and I want to start by recognizing the front desk staff and valet team they were friendly, welcoming, and made a great first impression. That said, there are a few areas that took away from what could have been a perfect experience. The main issue was with the restaurants on site. On our first day, we visited the Borrego Rooftop and experienced extremely slow service. It took far too long just to receive simple drinks. Later that evening, we returned and were allowed to place another order, but when the drinks were brought out, we were told it was “last call.” This was confusing, especially since it was only 10:30 PM. We were under the impression the restaurant closed at 11 PM, while signage near the elevator indicates midnight hours, which made the experience inconsistent and unclear. We also had a negative experience the following morning at Table 509. The signage in the hallway states breakfast is served until 11 AM, but when we arrived at 9:45 AM, we were immediately told to order quickly because they were about to close. While we understand restaurants have closing procedures, the tone and delivery felt unwelcoming and not aligned with the level of hospitality expected. Lastly, I want to bring attention to a safety concern in the room. The shower floor becomes extremely slippery when wet. I personally slipped and fell, which was concerning. This could pose a serious risk to other guests if not addressed. Overall, the stay was enjoyable, but improvements in service consistency, communication, and guest safety would make a significant difference.
