  I had a fantastic stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and the amenities were just what I needed for a relaxing getaway. The location is perfect for exploring, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

  The hotel itself was a typical HIE. The reason for the one star review is for a ridiculous policy of not accepting Apple Pay even though their machines take it. Some lame reason about security was given even though Apple Pay is the most secure way there is to pay. Thankfully I had a personal debit card on me but if you plan to use Apple pay, either try somewhere else, or just use it anyway. I was here two nights, booked separately and one of the nights I just ignored the front desk guy and paid with my Apple Pay card anyway and it went through and worked.

  We stayed here several times over the last few years and this last visit was terrible. As repayment for that and being a customer they lied to my bank when I brought up concerns 3 times to the front desk. There was smoking or pesticides in the room. The next room had what appeared to be black grounds or dirt in the bed and hair not just that. An employee cursed when they saw it. Said someone must’ve spilled something. Later they said “guest spilled coffee” I don’t drink coffee I didn’t have a coffee with me. Also the person who checked the room was a man working customer service not the general manager. The previous guest couldn’t have as they weren’t there clearly and if it was the previous guest are you saying room sheets aren’t changed before new guests arrive? Morning after morning there was no yogurt milk or eggs stocked this time. I let it go there’s other food and we were exhausted after traveling. We travel to San Diego several times a year and would’ve made this our go to spot every few months but this lack of customer service and offering $25 of points is very insulting. Guests expect the hotel to stand by the brand. Twice now the pool was also dirty and had wires with a pool light just out of the wall while people swim and broken glass in the pool another time. I tried to resolve this before leaving negativity.

  Angela Reyes was very informative and well spoken when checking me into a room, answering all questions I had in mind. 100/10 customer service and room cleanliness - would def recommend and stay again in the future!

  Pros: Mr. Soham, AK, Sunny, AO, Dinesh, TJ, Mrs. Elizabeth, the breakfast crew, and our room attendants were amazing!!!! The hotel was beautiful and accommodated all of our needs. Our room was huge, the breakfast was delicious, the staff was very helpful, and the location was convenient. My Suga Babies really enjoyed the pool. Cons: Parking was $24 per day. The hot tub was out of order and I was really looking forward to relaxing in it, but couldn't. For the first two nights, we didn't have a shower curtain in the bathroom. Our lovely room attendant took care of that for us. The remote to one of the TVs wasn't working for the first two nights either, however, the manager came up to the room and hooked the chords up to correct the problem. We needed to stay an extra night in the same room and we were charged almost $400; FOR ONE NIGHT!!!!! That was triple the cost for a regular night. I was not pleased about this at all. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends in the San Diego area. The staff was exceptionally wonderful to me! Thank you.
