  I chose this hotel for an overnight airport stay because of the great reviews, but I’m pretty confused. It was clean and fine for a night’s sleep… However, it has a few challenges: (1) The location is a bit industrial and very adjacent to the freeway. And despite its proximity to the airport as the crow flies, it still took us 15 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport. The shuttle doesn’t run after 11 pm, so we had to pay an Uber $16 to get to the hotel. Also, during the daytime, the airport shuttle only runs once per hour. (2) Also, I was awakened at 6 am by the housekeeping staff talking loudly in the hallway; when I left my room an hour later, they were still talking in the hallway outside my room because my room was directly across the hall from the laundry room. (3)The front desk staff gave me (twice) a card with their first names and instructions to please leave a 5-star Google review. Perhaps that is why there are so many positive reviews here, and while I wanted to do them a favor, I’m just not sure what about the hotel would be worth 5 stars. Next time I will spring for a hotel further from the airport but with better vital signs.

  A wonderful and truly accommodating property. After being promptly picked up at the ship by Nick in the shuttle, we arrived early (way before check in) and were graciously given the keys to our room for which we are truly grateful. And we were offered breakfast which was still being served. The following morning, we were scheduled for the 6a shuttle to the airport and breakfast was available before 6a. Ulises and driver Eddie were superb. You are to be commended for such accommodating staff and a beautiful and comfortable (and quiet!) property. All the best, Ralph and Linda Dwyer

  Great place to stay before going on a cruise. Room we stayed at is very clean and spacious we were next to the highway but you cant hear any outside sound. Breakfast choices was great lots to choose from they even have Cinnabon station. Nick our shuttle driver was amazing even gave my son a ride to town in a Cyber Truck so he can experience riding one. Eli front desk guy that check us in was so nice and friendly to our son even let my son to get something from treasure chest. I will definitely go back to this place. Kylene and Vangie that helped us check out was great too.

  I'm a frequent traveler,,, and I must say this is an excellent place to stay. Especially Eli, Nick, Vangie and Kailling go above and beyond for their customers. I was in San Diego for American Association for Cancer Research and was trying to find a good place to stay during the conference. But this place has not only met my expectations, but also had many minor surprises at every point that you can expect from a hotel. It was very clean and quiet, as it should be. But you can easily see that all staff is very attentive and polite. Eli was helpful was helpful from the beginng. Nick helped me to get to and from the conference everyday. Thanks to all staff. Will definitely stay here in my next trip. Highly recommend it.

  When I had to booo a last minute trip to San Diego for work I was stressed because I work with a budget that isn’t friendly to most San Diego hotels when booking last minute. I booked the Holiday inn Express and stayed for 2 nights. I was pleasantly surprised by many things, the room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable and their mini store provided a lovely dessert when I needed it- but they have a lot of stuff in their lobby store! Mark at the front desk was so kind and his customer service was awesome. I may just start booking here because the rates are great! The only downfall is there is no jacuzzi, but the pool is nice.
