- LSLorie SmitsFeb 2, 20265.0Book it, you’ll love it. Stayed in a family suite with our 4 year old. The pull out couch in the living area and a door separating the bedroom was a big plus for us. You don’t have a great view of the ocean from the first floor but we were fine with that trade off. You’re steps from the beach and amazing food. The staff was so helpful, we loved that they offered sand toys, beach chairs and towels. The pool was heated to a perfect swim able temperature. Only 15 min from the airport. Loved this place for so many reasons!

Even though the ocean was cold, they had warm showers to rinse off up at the boardwalk entrance. We normally stay in Marriott hotels for "the points". I would stay in this hotel 10 times out of 10 even if I had a million Marriott points!

Location was fantastic, and despite being right on the boardwalk and being on the first floor, it was very quiet and you could not hear anything from the room. Super close to Pacific Beach spots for restaurants. Hotel has bikes (including for kids!) that can be used and also has beach chairs and toys for the kids (super easy access to the beach). Highly recommended.
