The good: the pool and hot tub area are beautiful. Breakfast was pretty good too (get the french toast). The bad: I thought I would get used to the mold smell, but it got worse not better. Mattress was kinda worn out, which my back didn't appreciate after a few nights.

We stayed here for our granddaughter’s marine core graduation. From the pictures we seen online it looked nice so we booked it. Let me tell you pictures. Do not do this place justice. It truly felt like you were on a tropical island. The staff was friendly and very helpful. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

I had an excellent experience with the hotel reception. The staff were welcoming, efficient, and always ready to help with a smile. Check-in was quick, and they provided clear information about the hotel facilities. They also assisted with local recommendations, which made our stay even better. Exceptional service from start to the end. She was great. The bartender was truly exceptional! From the moment we arrived, his name is Iron incredibly professional. Every drink was crafted with skill and consistency, and their recommendations were absolutely perfect. They managed to balance friendliness with efficiency, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere while keeping service moving smoothly. It’s rare to come across someone who elevates the entire experience, but this bartender absolutely did. One of the best I’ve ever experienced he made us feel at home we will come again best time ever thank you so much Iron

I called the front desk to ask about security features, and the woman that answered was extremely rude and inconsistent with her answers. Only a few minutes into the conversation when asking for clarification, she told me she did not have time to answer the questions. When I asked for her name, she hung up on me. Either it was a bad hire or there is extremely poor training

We stayed here for five nights in a ground floor marina view suite. I would say this would be a great place for a Hawaiian vibe wedding with plenty of reasonably priced large rooms with full kitchens for guests to stay in. It feels it's made more for healthy individuals to stay here with all the walking and bicycle rentals and concert and dancing options right on sight. They have ground floor units but there is quite a bit of walking so I wouldn't say it is a very ADA friendly place if you need that. I was pleased you still have an incredible marina view from the ground floor. They have pretty big concerts during the summer right on the premises (between the rooms and the restaurant) but I was pleased I couldn't really hear it going on from the room even tho we were one of the closest units. If there is a concert that night it can be quite a long walk to get to the restaurant by having to go around it. It definitely felt just like staying in Hawaii. They have fire pits they can turn on for you if requested and a brand new pool side bar. Tiki torches are on every night. You get 1 hr a day free bicycle rentals with the room. I absolutely loved the bands that play at the restaurant, it's happy hour between 4-6 otherwise it's a pretty pricy restaurant. After that the band starts and there is a dance floor too. Being a hotel guest either gets the cover price waived at the door or substantially cheaper. The front desk never seemed to know anything we wanted to ask them. They have pamphlets you can pick up on the events and stuff but they didn't know what any of them were themselves, they didn't know about the restaurants or food in the area they just said 'google it'. I'm just used to staff being better trained to answer questions guests staying there might have I guess. Other mentionables: *$25 a day for parking *Their luggage carts are awful, our smaller items kept falling through the holes in the bottom on the bumpy walkways to and from the room *When it rains the wooden planks outside the lobby get really slippery. Their is a rubber runner they put out to help but it doesn't nearly cover the ramp enough for it not to be a significant fall hazard waiting to happen. *Their cleaning staff carts are always blocking the walkways at all hours of the day and just generally in the way *Their is guest laundry on site which takes quarters only. But a change machine is there and you can also purchase soap and dryer sheets.
