  Con - Let's just get it out of the way, the airplane noise is LOUD. The airport is right across the water. But inside the hotel, with windows closed, the volume is reasonable. If you can get past the planes, this hotel is GREAT (Maybe the planes are even a perk. Back in my son's toddler days, he would have LOVED watching the planes take off from the airport and fly overhead all day) Pros - The room was well laid out, comfortable, attractive but easy to clean surfaces, well stocked kitchen. Very quiet during the night; even the planes seem to take a break. Excellent breakfast each morning. We never felt the need to eat breakfast at a restaurant during our entire stay because the hotel breakfast was so good. A real time/money saver. The outdoor amenities, lawn games, access to waterfront walking path and park were a HUGE perk. Liberty Station is a lovely and convenient shopping area. We were so please with the comfort and convenience of the hotel location. Great stay. I'll be recommending to anyone visiting San Diego.

  This hotel has been the silver lining of the terrible experience of having my condo flooded. I have stayed here multiple times over the last 3 months during my home repairs. The staff are professional and kind. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The breakfast is exceptional. Thank you Homewood Liberty Station for being my home away from home during a very stressful time. Your excellent customer service really shines.

  Nice place to stay if you want to be close to the San Diego Intl Airport. A bit pricey, but not out of the ordinary for this area. Overall, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the property well run & maintained.

  As a family of four with two young children, we stayed in the king bed suite for four nights during the Thanksgiving weekend. The front desk staff is exceptionally friendly and professional. Breakfast is included daily, which is highly convenient when staying with children. The room included a king-sized bed, a queen-sized sectional sofa bed, a table, and two chairs. It also featured a small balcony facing the north building, a reasonably stocked kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave oven, and dishwasher. While the king bed may not be as comfortable for everyone, the sofa bed was sufficient for two people. The bathroom was equipped with a stand-in shower and a toilet. It was well-maintained and stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. However, the toilet paper was sandpaper, so it is advisable to bring your own if you prefer not to experience discomfort during your stay. The bathroom room awkwardly swings open into the sink area, which is located outside the bathroom. Overall, the room was soundproofed effectively. While flights taking off and landing at San Diego airport can be heard, the sound is significantly reduced when the balcony door is closed. Room service is offered every other day. A significant advantage for electric vehicle (EV) owners is the availability of multiple onsite charging stations. These stations allow for overnight vehicle recharging, which incurs a customer-paid fee. Onsite parking is priced at $21 per night, but it is not covered parking and is shared with the Marriott hotel located adjacent to the property. There were a lot of parking spots when we were here for our stay and EV onsite charging was also not congested. In summary, this establishment is an excellent choice for families with young children.
